    Realizing I’m secure because of Gods doing and none of my own, makes me fall more and more in love and awe of God.
    When more of my heart is given to God, then more of my actions will as well. This is the process of sanctification, unworthy men and women, realizing the mercies of God which enable us to live as sacrifices unto Him.
    U think the religious on that day who say “Lord Lord……” and Jesus says “I never knew u” believed they were saved by Gods grace alone? Nope. They show what they trusted in……”did we not DO many things in your name”…..to that heart Jesus says….depart from me I never knew you.

    Damn.. I appreciate the intro before the sermon. Totally agree, Christians should have elders/pastors to care for them and support the local body in their area. You don't see these things everyday.

    The biggest flaw in the thinking of the enemies of Eternal Security is that they fail to realize just how sinful they are themselves. Their own pride and arrogance blind them. They hypocritically condemn other believers who live in unrepentant sin or backslide, failing to realize that they're just as sinful in God's eyes. If salvation can be lost, then who is righteous enough to keep their own salvation? Only a self-righteous hypocrite would claim to be sinless, holly and righteous enough to please God and earn their place in Glory. The Word of God in the Old Testament puts them to shame...
    Isaiah 64:6, “But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.”
    As for me I am a filthy rotten sinner deserving the pits of Hell and the ONLY righteousness I have is the Imputed Righteousness of Jesus Christ:
    “And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness. Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was IMPUTED to him; But for us also, to whom it shall be IMPUTED, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead” (Romans 4:22-24).

      John 8:21:

      John 8:49-51:
      49“I do not have a demon,” Jesus replied, “but I honor My Father, and you dishonor Me. 50I do not seek My own glory. There is One who seeks it, and He is the Judge. 51Truly, truly, I tell you, if anyone keeps My word, he will never see death.”
      John 12:48:
      48There is a judge for the one who rejects Me and does not receive My words: The word that I have spoken will judge him on the last day.
      Luke 13:1-5:
      1At that time some of those present told Jesus about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices. 2To this He replied, “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans, because they suffered this fate? 3No, I tell you. But unless you repent, you too will all perish. 4Or those eighteen who were killed when the tower of Siloam collapsed on them: Do you think that they were more sinful than all the others living in Jerusalem? 5No, I tell you. But unless you repent, you too will all perish.”
      Matthew 5:27-32:
      27You have heard that it was said, ‘Do not commit adultery.’ 28But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. 30And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to depart into hell.
      31It has also been said, ‘Whoever divorces his wife must give her a certificate of divorce.’ 32But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, brings adultery upon her. And he who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.
      James 5:19-21:
      19My brothers, if one of you should wander from the truth and someone should bring him back, 20consider this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save his soul from death and cover over a multitude of sins.
      1 Corinthians 9:24-27:
      24Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way as to take the prize. 25Everyone who competes in the games trains with strict discipline. They do it for a crown that is perishable, but we do it for a crown that is imperishable. 26Therefore I do not run aimlessly; I do not fight like I am beating the air. 27No, I discipline my body and make it my slave, so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified.
      2 Corinthians 7:8-10:
      8Even if I caused you sorrow by my letter, I do not regret it. Although I did regret it, I now see that my letter caused you sorrow, but only for a short time. 9And now I rejoice, not because you were made sorrowful, but because your sorrow led you to repentance. For you felt the sorrow that God had intended, and so were not harmed in any way by us. 10Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation without regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.

      There's so much freedom and peace of mind when it clicks that God is sovereign, hey? It was tough for me to grasp that God orchestrates bad/evil without being evil, but once it clicks ... Happy you got there, too.

      @@lilacDaisy111 I struggled to reconcile God's sovereignty and our personal responsibility to respond to the gospel and strive to obey. I thought there was a contradiction. Like Grace and Law couldn t be in the same room. But that is not so. The bible teaches both and we don t have to reconcile anything. It s there. Simple. Repent and believe the gospel. Turn to Christ. Rejoice. Again, rejoice.

    Thsnk you Mark Gibney, (from The Well Christian Assembly) who shared this video. Jeff, you opened my eyes by summing up things I already knew, but you "assembled" all the parts to make the Grace of God fit like I thought it should.       James 2 has nothing to do with salvation , It's talking about Faith without works is dead in the sight of men.
      It's talking about justification before men not justification before God.

      It eve goes on to say we are fools if we seek evidence to know faith without works is dead and sets Abraham as the example for what he was going to do before God stopped him from sacrificing his son on the mount. His faith was made complete and proven.

      Hi...you might want to listen to James White on Catholicism. You can listen to his debates which are helpful on his channel Alpha and Omega Ministries or the other one Dr. Oakley1689. He and Jeff are kind of a "dream team" when it comes to defending the faith against other beliefs and errors. They work closely together and have the same passion! God Bless.

      Trinity foundation has MP3's you can listen to for free. Its it's basically a bunch of college lexor courses for free. One of them is on the Catholic Church from the perspective of a Sovereign Grace reformed theology by man named Richard Bennett who was an ex Bishop I believe. I don't know how you could listen today's lecture courses and still be a Catholic

      i was saved through a Catholic - had not seen her since i was a child over 50 years ago, and when i met this catholic woman for the first time in many years - she hugged me with great sincere love and I knew it was Jesus who was holding me - I got delivered from the new age 27 years of new age that week - so stop with the Catholics - and the protestants etc etc. because is not limited by your theology.

      Repent and trust in him and believe his Gospel! It’s incredible! Know that Christ has come! He lived a sinless life! Know we are sinful and worthy of only damnation! Know that he paid the price to justify you before God! Trust in Him! Trust in Him! Let Him transform you!

      Good question Vladimir. I have many myself. I am trying to pray, trust in what I have learned-even though that is challenging at times, as evidenced by so many differing views/interpretations from so many so called Christians. Back to pray, seek seek seek his truth, ask him to reveal it to you. Sorry don’t have the verses but he does say he will reveal his truth to us, through the quickening of our spirit from the Holy Spirit.
      Back to pray, seek, ask for assurance of HIS salvation. I find he does bring things/messages into my life that lead me to believe they are from him, as they are specific to what I have asked him about. Hope this makes sense…keep seeking keep asking and try and rest as you wait, and first and foremost wait for him to answer, don’t look for the answers elsewhere.

    The bible warns that some will depart from the faith in the latter days ( you can’t fall away/de[art unless you were a part of it to begin with). The Bible warns about Backsliding (you can’t back slide if you didn’t slide forward to begin with). Also, there is reference to people’s name being blot of the book of life (your name can’t be blot out unless it was written first). Don’t forget there are numerous verses that state the following people will not inherit the Kingdom of God- For instance. 1 Corinthians 6:9 9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. If sin wasn’t a big deal then why would Jesus say this Matthew 18: 8“If your hand or foot causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life lame or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet, to be cast into the everlasting fire. 9And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes, to be cast into [b]hell fire. If you sin you are of the devil (1 John 8:44) when you ask God to change your life and you put in your own effort (James 4:7) then you are adopted into the family. God is Holy so you must be Holy, you need to enter the narrow gate and aim to be perfect as the Father is perfect; you will be sanctified and changed overtime and conformed to the image of Jesus. If you are born again you can still fall away ; Jude refers to it as being twice dead. Remember in revelation it states the devil makes war with those who have the testimony of Jesus Christ and keep the commandments of God. Now most people do one without the other; for instance, lukewarm Christians (Rev 3:16) have the testimony of Jesus but are living in intentional sin. Jews keep the commandments of God but do not have the testimony of Jesus. God requires both! Ivan tuttle went to Hell and Heaven and he said there are way too many Christians who believed in Once saved always saved, Eternal Security so they had Intentional Sin they didn’t repent of pornography, lying, stealing, fornication etc Please see the video th-cam.com/video/GsZCouCzT0U/w-d-xo.html (2 Cor 5:17 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.)

If you have always believed that then you are on your way to the eternal lake of fire (Hell) which the eternal lake of fire (Hell) is filled with everlasting pain and suffering!!!!!!!!!!!! Acts 2:38 says Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
      Acts 2:38 does NOT say Then Peter said unto them, Repent of your sins, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
      Peter in Acts 2:38 is saying repent (Change Your Mind From Your Unbelief To Your Belief In The Death, Burial And Resurrection Of The Lord Jesus Christ) since Salvation (Everlasting Life) is a one time event and then be water baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins since Discipleship of the Lord Jesus Christ (Son Of God And God) is an ongoing process and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. You may ask me how do I know Acts 2:38 is NOT teaching being water baptized to be saved (Sorry For No Question Marks Because My Laptop Does Not Have Any Question Marks To Put On) and my answer is Acts 2:21 which says And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Acts 2:21 does NOT say And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord and be baptized shall be saved.
      Repent of sins is WORKS because Jonah 3:10 says And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.
      Repent of sins is keeping the law!!!!!!!
      Ephesians 2:8-9 says For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
      Romans 3:28 says Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
      Romans 3:24-26 says Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God. To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
      Being water baptized is part of our righteousness and Titus 3:5 says Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.

      The Holy Bible says salvation is FREE and to repent of sins + being water baptized in order to go to heaven for eternity is NOT free!!!!!!! Matthew 18:2-4 says And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
      To repent of sins and be water baptized are NOT coming as little children + you did not even quote verses in the Holy Bible to prove that I am deceived simply because I am NOT deceived. You claiming I am deceived without proving to me verses in the Holy Bible is ridiculous because you claiming I am deceived without proving to me verses in the Holy Bible proves I am saved (Born Again) and you are deceived.

      The question we should be asking is why was the person damned
      The answer is
      The person is damned NOT because the person did not get water baptized!!!!!!
      The person is damned NOT because the person did not go to church!!!!!
      The person is damned NOT because the person did not repent of his or her sins!!!!!!!
      The person is damned BECAUSE the person never believed the gospel (1 Corinthians 15:1-4 In The Holy Bible)
      Mark 16:16 does NOT say He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not and is not baptized shall be damned.

      @Northern Wolf James 2:10 says For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet shall offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
      James 2:10 is saying for example if ever a person keeps the 10 commandments of God perfectly yet breaks one commandment of God for example telling just one white lie as a young kid then that person is guilty of ALL!!!!!!!
      Galatians 5:19 mentions the word flesh and John 3:3-8 says Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old can he enter the second time into his mothers womb, and be born Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
      The born again brethren in Christ like me have two natures which is the flesh and the other one is the Spirit while Unsaved unbelievers who are NOT born again only have one nature which is the flesh.

      I don't understand your question Michael.
      You quoted the verse. If they were of us they would have remained with us. Does that mean that they were of us for a Time? No. Because if they were of us they would have remained with us.
      Question for you. The ones who went out, when were they of us? Answer. Never. Why? If they had been of us they would have remained with us.
      There's not a problem with what Jeff is saying there's a problem with your reading comprehension

      @@michaellawlor5625 first of all you didn't address what I said at all, but I'll move on to your new point. Christ asking the disciples if they wanted to go does not mean that a person that is ordained to eternal life by God before the foundation of the world can somehow un -ordain themselves that's absurd. He asked them a question so that WE can get their answer. To whom else can we go master? You have the words of eternal life.
      Your problem isn't that you don't understand. Your problem is that you have not submitted your self to God because you love yourself and your "freewill" and your sin more.
      Jesus also preached to the pharisees in John 8:42 Jesus said to them, If God were your father, you would love Me, for I went forth and came from God; for I did not come of Myself, but He sent Me.43 Why do you not know My speech? Because you cannot hear My word.
      44 You are of the Devil as father, and the lusts of your father you will do. He was a murderer from [the] beginning, and did not abide in the truth because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own, for he is a liar and the father of it.
      There is no contra-causal free will
