Sir why there is need for this? Many other SMPS like laptop and phone charger can work in both voltage/frequencies without selector switch.
Even if we get 155v DC voltage, IC will increase PWM duty cycle to achieve target voltage when load connected?

no we cannot increase current of any smps. it is true. if we will try to increase, it may damage transformer, mosfet and other parts of the converter

in 110 volt it draws double current
but the input power rating will remain same
