Well that's definitely the fastest repower of a boat I have ever witnessed. I guess they still have to hook up the coolant and fuel lines but, dang, that's pretty cool.
most of them use cummins or similar I6 diesels which are used in marine and automotive. i have a truck with a cummins and it has passed 1 million kilometers with basic maintenance

I was in Bangkok over 50 years ago and these boats were exactly the same. I have no idea how long the engines last.
