I haven’t hidden the fact that I love Luigi’s Mansion. Even though I haven’t done a Luigi’s Mansion review. I didn’t grow up with the original Luigi’s Mansion gameplay, since I didn’t even own a Gamecube until the early 2010’s, but when I did play it, I fell in love. Completely fresh and innovative ghost-hunting gameplay from Nintendo with a bleak and tense atmosphere and fantastic minimalist soundtrack (seriously, go and search Luigi’s Mansion OST right now, it’s brilliant). The original was so good, they even tried a Luigi’s Mansion 3DS version. I did a Luigi’s Mansion 3DS review a few years back, and I found it….fine? But nothing like the original. As far as Luigi’s Mansion Dark Moon is concerned - well, Luigi’s Mansion 2 in the UK anyway - I liked it a lot, but felt like the stage select system was a step down from before, and the over-excitable sountrack sucked the atmosphere out of the gothic and gloomy visuals. Luigi’s Mansion 3 gameplay takes every step forward correctly after Dark Moon, almost to the point of it feeling more like a Luigi’s Mansion 2 than Dark Moon did. And I’m ecstatic to say that, since after seeing the Luigi’s Mansion 3 trailer reveal, I got more hyped than I care to admit. In this Luigi’s Mansion 3 review, you’ll find out what I think about everything from the music and soundtrack and especially the new mechanics, including the horrific Gooigi, and Luigi’s Mansion 3 all bosses. This isn’t a Luigi’s Mansion 3 walkthrough, nor a tutorial on Luigi’s Mansion 3 gameplay, but you will see a Luigi’s Mansion 3 review. In case that wasn’t clear enough.

Caddy has to be one of the most entertaining parents ever. Like, holy shit. Like, imagine your dad coming downstairs and saying he has to get ready for work and then 10 minutes later he's chasing the dog around in a luigi costume with a vaccum cleaner.

Caddy in general seems like a genuinely cool dude I'd have a few pints with the guy.
Fun fact: Luigi's biggest fear is ghosts, but yet he was able to overcome his fear slightly and he ended up keeping the Polterpup (ghost dog) as a pet.
Who doesn't want one? 😢 so cute...
Character growth and personality are why I like Luigi more than his brother.
I really loved the ending in two with how sweet luigi was with the polterpup. Even though it was kind of annoying.

if you leave the director ghost alone and come back to his room later in the game he will have finished editing the movie which you can watch on the projector.

@@KimiOmega have fun with that. This is a game I can see myself playing over and over, definitely more so than Dark Moon and especially the original
@@KimiOmega the other 2 are good as well so I'd recommend you play them if you get the chance, but I would suggest that you play the original game on Gamecube if possible. The 3DS remake is fine, it's the only way I've ever played it, but the controls don't feel as natural as Dark Moon's, which is to be expected since DM was built from the ground up for 3DS rather than having to be adjusted for the new hardware like the original LM.
I suspect I would like LM better than DM if I had played the original on Gamecube with a proper controller, but between the 2 on 3DS, DM is easily the better of them

This review pretty much perfectly captures why I absolutely adore Luigi's Mansion 3. The cutscenes were my favorite part. They're so expressive and I genuinely felt for Luigi whenever he got happy, relieved or sad. Charles did an AMAZING job with his voice work in this game for Mario and Luigi. So much emotion!!! LM3 is my favorite game in the trilogy now.
MC Genni The only sad part is, and this isn’t a knock against Charles, he’s a really brilliant voice actor, but… If you listen closely to Luigi’s voice, you can definitely hear Charles age.

gooigi is actually Luigi's soul leaving his body, like that one episode of regular show where rigby's body rejects him.
the implication is cleary that Luigi's mind passes between the two, hence his body being so limp. Though there's this really funny thing though where he still gives a thumbs up when Gooigi solves a puzzle

The way that dog ran away from the vacuum had me dying! It’s nice to see this game getting so much attention. It shows that some of Nintendo’s somewhat different IPs are just as entertaining as the classics.
Watching this episode again for Halloween, also since the luigis mansion lego sets got announced. This is one of my favorite caddicarus episodes from the old format.

For those in North America wondering why Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon is titled Luigi's Mansion 2, well in places besides North America, it was titled Luigi's Mansion 2 instead of Dark Moon. Please Understand that some games don't share the same title world-wide.
