I didn’t need to play Turo in that last game. Getting Drifloon up to 90 damage would still make it hit for 270, enough to one-hit KO Galvantula. Nevertheless, there might be times where using Turo on a Drifloon could win you a game. Don’t be like me and memorize your multipliers! Also, I could have easily sniped the Charmander on the bench for game with Scream Tail. Admittedly, I didn’t see that play in the moment because I REALLY wanted to hit the Drifloon + Munkidori combo for maximum damage and KO the Charizard. It was a much riskier proposition but I’m glad that I was ultimately able to sequence it right for my sake. More often than not though, take the easiest route to victory!
it rarely matters and with most list difficult to pull off since it needs 7 psy and 1 dark, but drifloon + bravery charm"s hp being a multiple of 20 means that if you can remove 30 then add back 40 you can get an extra 30 dmg. IE drifloon+charm attach 5 energies =100/120, move 3 counters for 70/120 then add 2 more energy 110/120 for 330+ 30
I remember I sunk like 500 bucks into Evilswarm back in the day. By the time I got everything the deck was dead already. I had to eat that. And that’s nothing compared to the thousands people have sunk into single decks that are dead within 2 formats if you’re lucky
All you needed at the end of the first match is super rod -> scream tail, nest ball to put it into the bench, research to get Gardi, and finish Charmander on the bench
thanks for those videos! im new to the TCG and this way i can learn decks before going to my first tournament in a few days :) this is the deck im gonna play with, but i changed some cards out because of acessibility
I like rare candy in any stage 2 deck a lot, especially when running multiple different stage 2’s (like Zard and Pigeot). It’s just nice having that wild card stage 1 to help me if I can’t dig up whatever stage 1 I need.
I have played against a couple of hydrapple decks and one cinderace deck so far. I'm more interested in the cinderace deck. I would rather you cover that one, cuz I want to know the strategy behind it and what makes it tick so I can be more prepared to go against it or play it myself. I think I've gotten the gist of what hydrapple deck does and also not very interested in that deck.
Hi just started playing Pokermon can you recommend a easy deck to play at my clubs Pokermon night and will you be doing an upgrade vid for the new battle deck due in the next month or so, cheers keep up the great work providing entertaining Videos
Welcome to the Pokemon TCG! I actually answered that question in a video I released not too long ago. Hope this helps! th-cam.com/video/3xC8Axcrj1Q/w-d-xo.htmlsi=QZqzQSwfDZbfP9My

Just got into pokemon today, built gardvior ex. The deck is super fun. This game is stupid affordable compared to yugioh
do you play real life or TCG LIVE online game?? i love pokemon too
Literally. You can build a whole deck in Pokémon or buy one yugioh staple

I didn’t listen to what he said in the beginning about scream tail and got so mad when he took drifloon back against Draco 😂

Already addressed this in my pinned comment before you posted.
