I walked on to the field myself in 2012 or so (I don’t remember exactly). I was driving home from college in a snow storm, was 45 minutes from home, but had been on the road for 18 hours and needed a break. I stopped in Ann Arbor for some food, and was really close to the big house, so I parked and walked around a bit. There was some construction near the Crisler Center, so I snuck in through a fence that was broken. Found some unlocked doors and had a good hour to myself. Saw one other person from a distance but I hid pretty well. Super fun.
If you go there on Sunday morning after a Saturday game the stadium has more open entrances as they do their cleanup. I was able to walk on the field but they wouldn’t let me go in the suites
