I own one of these. Man, as a person that works in IT this kit is great. Not only is it durable but fits so many cables without all the mess. It's amazing.
My wife liked the "Kit" you recommended which I purchased as part of her Christmas gift so much we are buying modified kits for a few friends. Thanks. Keep the ideas coming.
Thought I was the only one who prepared for emergencies - folks have come to depend on me when they have an unexpected need or simply forget something. You gave me some ideas for a few more goodies. Thanks.
I just built my own! It is going to come in really handy because I won't have to unplug and carry all the cables I use at home anymore! Thanks for the idea!
Hey UAC! I am getting my first decent headphones and I'm thinking about getting the V-moda M100 OR the Audio-technica ath-m50x. Can you recommend me one of them with my preference? -I like a punchy, audiophile sound with slight warmer sound -Good comfort and design -good durability and portability What should i get?
Sir! Can you please make a video about your Gundams? :). I ALWAYS notice those in most of your videos and they are so cool! Especially the Gundam Freedom, if I'm not mistaken :)). Peace out and God Bless! :)
I went ahead and picked up some of the things in your kit. Love the charger and the wires, the splitter just got in and I have not had to use it yet. The Wall surge protector is much help at work. Thanks for info.
I just ordered mine today, This is such a good strategy man. I only have apple products so some of those things i prod. won't need. But man thanks for the info
Thanks dude, I have watched several of your video's and they have been very helpful. I especially like the fact that you include the links, it makes searching for stuff ultra easy. From the land down under great work mate.
I actually use this universal case as a first aid kit in my car. You never know what might happen with kids. It fits every size band aids, creams, meds and feminine stuff. I think I’m going to get more of these for my/my husband’s tech stuff for his travels. Awesome video as always!
Just made my own "emergency tech kit" with everything you suggested except the portable charger because I already have one! Thanks so much for the tips!
This is awesome! I am making a variation of this to give to my dad who travels a lot from my sister and I for his birthday. Thanks for the inspiration.
Usually you can expect a straight through PG build to take around 4-5 days (alotting for breaks, etc etc, working about 4 hours at a time.) They're serious projects.
Currently making a tech survival kit for myself! currently just got the Amazon Basics Travel Case, a charging cable, and a external battery. Except i decided to go with a more powerful battery. almost same size just a bit bigger but offers 8000 more mAh than the aukey. I got the Anker powercore 20100.
Handy thing to add would be a hdmi to mini display adapter, especially if you're a MacBook Pro/Air user. It also comes in handy with Surface tablets and thin laptops without hdmi ports.
I've been watching you videos for quite a while now and I love all the nerd stuff in the background! So far I also own just about every fundamental model that you've shown so far!
I had my doubts at the start of the video, but there is some really cool shit in here! I really dig the flash drive with the micro/c usb! Great video man!
Awesome survival kit! I have some very similar items in mine, but they all can't fit in the amazon basics case. I usually have a chromecast, fire TV stick (with remote), and a miracast usb dongle (because you never know which one will be best), plus a usb extension cable, a retractable hdmi cable, and a hdmi extender(because sometimes the power outlet is on the other side of the TV from the hdmi port) . I also have a usb charge hub, a mini travel router, a wifi sd card reader, a monster to go power adapter, a 5 in 1 usb microsd adapter, various sized sd/micro cards, an aux cable, a battery pack, cheap headphones, and a travel usb 12 volt adapter. I'm pretty much ready for everything, and tsa hates me because of the amount of electronics I have.
This is the most useful video I have seen put out in a long time by any creator! It should also be noted that it is an excellent survival guide for going to any kind of convention (I immediately thought of NY Comic Con since I go every year)
I would keep this in my backpack during school. I would have the power supply and probably plug my phone in during classes so it charges. I would probs include a thunderbolt cable along with a pair of Apple EarPods. The microfiber cloth sounds like a nice touch also. Im a huge fan of the old iPod Nanos so I would include one of those, just for all my music if I don't have my phone.
Just FYI, on the "no love for Apple" comment, there are multiple Lightning to USB transfer options available on Amazon. There are myriad different configurations available, all of them in super compact form-factors.
Hey, you should add a travel router like the raw power so you don't need a WiFi connection nearby for the chromecast. It work as a router, SD card/usb harddrive storage and a powerbank!
I might just make something like this since I have a lot of the stuff already! I have a similar 2-in-1 lightning/ micro USB cable, the exact same surge protector, some extra Earpods, and microfiber clothes up the wazoo! Plus I have a battery bank/ wireless SD card reader from Adata which absolutely awesome! Especially since you can put any full size SD card in it and it works on any OS as long as you download the app! All I need is a slick carrying case and a Chromecast!
correct me if im wrong but i believe the belkin surge protector is 2.1 amps combined and not 2.1 amps each...just wanted to make sure im reading the description right...thanks!
I'm going to set up my own survival kit. Especially useful when I'm on vacation with my motorcycle and in general. I'll add some of my own stuff: portable hotspot that shares the hotel wifi to my devices with added security. As we have a big bulky outlet design here in Europe, I won't be able to fit it into the kit though :)
A great one is an EE mini osprey, mobile wifi with a limit of 10 devices it has a cap of 50gbs per month which is enough for streaming to chrome cast or watching videos.
Wow, I honestly didn't realize how useful some of those could be in situations. I got a $50 Amazon Card for Christmas, it looks like I won't be having one very much longer! Thanks for this awesome guide Jud, keep up the sweet and useful videos!
just so you know, something thats really good for cleaning phone screens and camera lenses is zeiss lens wiped theyre tiny portable wipes. kind of like the alcohol wipes you get frim restaurants
Dude this video (and bag) is on point.
Thanks bro!
austin you are so right
Pleas review your fundamental models, please!😭
Austin Evans sucks buck
Austin Evans hows you apartm.... ummm never mind.
I own one of these. Man, as a person that works in IT this kit is great. Not only is it durable but fits so many cables without all the mess. It's amazing.
my emergency earphones are my only earphones lmao
ikr

yeah I have good earphones but the only ones I can ever find are the emergency earphones
+JMPHD get the amazon basics or one for 99p
Oh ok. I need to make one of these myself. I need that surge protector outlet and the 3 in 1 cables too. Nice informative video.
THAT SWIVEL SHOULD BE ON EVERY CHARGING HUB!!!!!
My wife liked the "Kit" you recommended which I purchased as part of her Christmas gift so much we are buying modified kits for a few friends. Thanks. Keep the ideas coming.
I'm not the biggest fan of it, but damn that's a good looking Strike Freedom.
Glad to see another video from you so soon. We gotta work on getting you to 1 Million subs though. You deserve it.
I appreciate you explaining the usefulness of each item in detail. Very helpful and informative. Thanks
No prob!
Thought I was the only one who prepared for emergencies - folks have come to depend on me when they have an unexpected need or simply forget something. You gave me some ideas for a few more goodies. Thanks.
What if you forget your survival kit
+richard Antwibediako 😱
You cannot....survive.
that's why you need a survival kit for the survival kit
I just built my own! It is going to come in really handy because I won't have to unplug and carry all the cables I use at home anymore! Thanks for the idea!
This is genius! Beautiful product shots as well
Why thank you miss!
In every scene there is a Gundum. love your passion Judner.
Hey UAC! I am getting my first decent headphones and I'm thinking about getting the V-moda M100 OR the Audio-technica ath-m50x.
Can you recommend me one of them with my preference?
-I like a punchy, audiophile sound with slight warmer sound
-Good comfort and design
-good durability and portability
What should i get?
I know this has nothing to do with the survival kit but what song is playing in the background? I really like it
Thanks for info.
dude this was such a great video, I need this kit in my life haha.
most helpful video for emergencies i have! subscriber: 3 years and proud
When are we getting 2.0 ?
I actually use this universal case as a first aid kit in my car. You never know what might happen with kids. It fits every size band aids, creams, meds and feminine stuff. I think I’m going to get more of these for my/my husband’s tech stuff for his travels. Awesome video as always!

+Steven Van so the charging is low? or fast or normal ?!
Just made my own "emergency tech kit" with everything you suggested except the portable charger because I already have one! Thanks so much for the tips!

This is awesome! I am making a variation of this to give to my dad who travels a lot from my sister and I for his birthday. Thanks for the inspiration.
Like for a Tech survival kit 2.0, please!
I see those that Gundam model kit collection in the background!!! The fact now you made me a bigger fan
really enjoy your videos.
Went to Amazon right after this vid and added just about everything you showed. great kit man.
The funny part is the strike freedom is hardest to get out of all this
so funny right
+Sabino Rodriguez not hardest, but definitely the most expensive of everything on the list. PGs are worth it though hah
+Artiifakt How long on average does it take for a straight build of a Perfect Grade?
Usually you can expect a straight through PG build to take around 4-5 days (alotting for breaks, etc etc, working about 4 hours at a time.) They're serious projects.
Currently making a tech survival kit for myself! currently just got the Amazon Basics Travel Case, a charging cable, and a external battery. Damn this actually a good video.
100% making one... off to amazon to get this going. A must for anyone who works freelance or goes to school!
for some odd reason this has a mkbhd inspire channel vibe to it. idk dont judge me I'm new. honestly I'm digging it.
RDTVEnt. Theyre both friends.
Handy thing to add would be a hdmi to mini display adapter, especially if you're a MacBook Pro/Air user. It also comes in handy with Surface tablets and thin laptops without hdmi ports.
Thumbs up if you came here because of "What's in my tech travel 2.0"
😂😂true because he won't say it
I love this idea! I can see myself carrying these in my bag all the time!
Overall great vid
Thanks!
I've been watching you videos for quite a while now and I love all the nerd stuff in the background! So far I also own just about every fundamental model that you've shown so far!
OMG ONE PUNCH MAN! #anime , very amazing!
I had my doubts at the start of the video, but there is some really cool shit in here! I really dig the flash drive with the micro/c usb! Great video man!
"Be one of the cool guys or girls." *Immediately spam the like button*
Most definitely getting one. Keeps me from lugging a back pack around just for external battery packs.
Oi Nilce!
CAC melhor canal
I like the idea of having a kit like this especially if you're a person that regularly switches between different bags.

Literally the best idea ever, I'm ordering everything on Amazon right now!

This is so awesome! I'm putting my own together right now to use on business trips. Thanks for the great recommendations.
Put my kit together this weekend! Thanks for the suggestions! Great ideas!
There are a few lightning usb drives options out there, plus the SanDisk connect wireless drive can be used for Android or iOS
This is an awesome kit, but the real reason I liked this video was for the awesome Gundam model kits you used to show everything off with!
This is the most useful video I have seen put out in a long time by any creator! It should also be noted that it is an excellent survival guide for going to any kind of convention (I immediately thought of NY Comic Con since I go every year)
Nice! I've actually compiled a few of these years ago I just never named it! You just might have sparked a new video series idea!
I am very pleased to see videos like this, so congrats. I just need the Amazon Case and I'm golden. Thanks for the video.
I will definitely get the Survival Kit. I have experienced most of the scenarios presented and this is an awesome solution.
This is the video that encouraged me to curate my EDC!
super dope, loving the survival kit. seems pretty legit to travel with, great stuff Jud!
I plan on crating a modified version of this kit. Thanks for giving me the idea and some items to put in it!
Just FYI, on the "no love for Apple" comment, there are multiple Lightning to USB transfer options available on Amazon. There are myriad different configurations available, all of them in super compact form-factors.
Just bought the case! Gonna make one soon. Different stuff inside but same idea! Thanks for the awesome idea!
Another great video looks like you have given me another project I can work on putting my own tech survival kit together, great job!
Hey, you should add a travel router like the raw power so you don't need a WiFi connection nearby for the chromecast. It work as a router, SD card/usb harddrive storage and a powerbank!
Dope... Video. Picked up a few items myself. Spend whole day commuting all items mentioned are a plus.
Great video! Since I have a Nexus 6p I've been wondering if there was a mini scandisk for USB Type C. Thanks a bunch.
hey UrAvgConsumer you have featured many portable chargers but which one is the best?can you make video on the best portable chargers?
Awesome video, I've got a lot of this stuff already and honestly, the stuff comes in handy every single week!
I might just make something like this since I have a lot of the stuff already! I have a similar 2-in-1 lightning/ micro USB cable, the exact same surge protector, some extra Earpods, and microfiber clothes up the wazoo! Plus I have a battery bank/ wireless SD card reader from Adata which absolutely awesome! definitely going to check out the:
Belkin SuperPlus outlet
Aukey 12000 portable cable
Smilism 3-in-1 USB cable
correct me if im wrong but i believe the belkin surge protector is 2.1 amps combined and not 2.1 amps each...just wanted to make sure im reading the description right...thanks!
Really digging the amazon case, so versatile, I'm gonna' have to get a couple of them 😊
You're channel is awesomely amazing! I just built my Tech Survival Kit
Sandisk actually does make a compact usb drive with lighting connector called the iXpand.
Man, you've really got me liking gunpla from your videos. Now I try to figure out which is shown lol. Great video as always
Love the video! Great tips and super entertaining. You're my new favorite tech guy!
The Gunpla Astray Red looks so nice!
A great one is an EE mini osprey, mobile wifi with a limit of 10 devices it has a cap of 50gbs per month which is enough for streaming to chrome cast or watching videos.
any recommendations for a UK/IRL equivalent of the Belkin Surgeplus?
love the micro fiber cloth in the poch that is dope
Wow, I honestly didn't realize how useful some of those could be in situations. I got a $50 Amazon Card for Christmas, it looks like I won't be having one very much longer! Thanks for this awesome guide Jud, keep up the sweet and useful videos!
DANNNGGG your vids support 4k viewing!!?!? YOU THE REAL MVP!
This is why I subscribe to your channel man. You give such great tech suggestions!
just so you know, something thats really good for cleaning phone screens and camera lenses is zeiss lens wiped theyre tiny portable wipes. kind of like the alcohol wipes you get frim restaurants
I purchased four of the components you recommended and got a second one for my wife. Thanks
Yes yes yes! Love it all! Great video kid! My kind of survival bag. Well done
Omg Judner, this would have helped SOO much today on our road trip from Tampa to Atlanta. Now I'll have to do this in the future, thanks UAC!!!
