need to know if the cluster controls the temp on the A/C for the car; the old cluster that was on my car had no display screen, could not read the mileage, nor the gas in the car, and when it would rain the speed gage on the cluster would stop working. not the new cluster display works grate, and also tell me how much gas i have in the car that the old cluster would not work, but the RMP's gage dose not work and the temp gage for the radiator works for 2 seconds and then maxes to the right.

I just got the m5 cluster for my e39 540i do u think I can reprogram the m5 cluster to work in my 540i with this instruction thanks buddy

No. As far as Im aware, you can't program the M5 cluster into your 540i using this fuction. More programming is required for all the gauges to work. M5 cluster will work on your 540i when you install it, just the temp meter and oil temp gauges won't work. Your temp gauge might also act weir since it happened to mine when i installed an M5 cluster to my 540it.
