If you use the divine relic, farm fish in the beginning for 6 HP, and run through the level with at least 4 and a full super, you can completely skip the octopus section at the end by damage boosting. Also, a cool forbidden jitsu you might like is in the king dice fight, if you dash behind his arm, the twist up is the only weapon to phase through his arm and hit his head, so as long as your lucky in getting behind the correct arm, you can do massive damage and skip the parries.
I just finished P ranking all the Run n Guns then I go on youtube and see your video, I could've used this before I decided to try and P rank PP (It was the hardest for me, those shrimps).

You can easily p rank perilous piers if you use the divine relic and super 2. This is how I p rank it (you don’t have to read all of it since most of the things is already in the video) At the start, I smoke dashed through the fishes, barnacles and the spiky enemies. When I reached the crab part, I stay on top of the crabs and jump to the next crab. Right after the crab part, there will be a box, if I didn’t get 3 parries, I will stay on the box and farm the pink starfish for health since I have the divine relic which includes the heart ring. After I get 5-6 hp, I will jump over the lobster and go on top of the box and dodge the lightning attack and chase the lobster until I got to the ship. But instead of going to the octopus part, I wait inside the ship for my super since the divine relic includes the coffee charm. When I got 5 special cards, I pakour to the octopus, but instead of parrying the gem, I super and spam the dash button so I can skip the octopus part and p rank perilous piers.

Well, for a P Rank, you can't eliminate any enemies before finishing the level. If you're just talking about normally beating Perilous Piers, the Run n Gun with the Octopus, yeah Chaser would be a good option presumably to avoid dealing with the flying shrimp, and then you can focus on dodging the pearl and rinse and repeat until you get to the end! Shooting the Octopus also speeds it up slightly if you wanna go faster lol (no, this isn't "eliminating" the octopus, so you can P Rank doing this. Also parrying pink enemies like the shrimp doesn't count against a P Rank, so parrying is fine)
For funfair fever..you can very easily get the invincible super by parrying a couple ballons...or cannon balls..funny enough, I only used it to get passed the hot dog and even then I still had 2 lives.

I honestly couldn't tell you what the problem is. To P Rank a level, you have to beat the entire Run 'n Gun without eliminating a single enemy. Parrying a pink enemy from my testing actually doesn't count against the P Rank requirement, so if you're doing exactly what you're saying, then there must be some hidden issue you might not be noticing or the Gods don't want you to XD. I've P Ranked all the Run 'n Guns countless times and I've 300% Cuphead a dozen times and I've never had a single issue getting a P Rank doing what is required. If you're doing EXACTLY what I'm doing in the video and you STILL don't get a P Rank, there HAS to be some underlying issue that I don't know about. Not sure how I could help sadly 😢.
@@MrKap i think i found the issue of why i couldnt get the p rank. I was always using Djimmi the great 's wishes to get past the run n guns (i beat the main game so i have infinite wishes). Today i beat treetop trouble without any wish and i got the p rank. So i think that was the issue

There are plenty of things I didn't mention that could've been applied to the Run 'n Guns. For example, you can use the mushroom clouds in Forest Follies to parry over the Acorn Machine as well, and you can also glitch through it if you use a Peashooter EX looking away from the machine, while you're inside the machine. So I didn't bother to go over every single way the Run 'n Guns could've been beat, and it makes the video a lot more consistent so it's all information that all people could utilize.
On how to get D's? I'm sorry, I don't think I'm understanding this. I can try making YT shorts on the Kings Gauntlet though, that may be something useful to make.

You can also do that more efficiently with converge because it pierces through his arm completely (because that's the gimmick of the weapon)
