  • Today, we're creating a super simple DIY moss bowl that can be the main centerpiece in your spring dining table decor!
    Often times I get a lot of ideas for centerpiece and home decor at some of my favorite home stores like Restoration Hardware, Crate and Barrel and West Elm. These items can often come with a price tag on the more expensive side too.
    An item as simple as a Moss Bowl doesn't have to be pricey or complicated.
    In this video I share how I created such a unique and simple centerpiece for a fraction of the price of the expensive stores. (and how perfect that it Spring is right around the corner!) Bring on ALL of the moss!
    I hope you find this helpful. Thank you for tuning in!
    As always, there are a lot more DIY videos and decorating ideas coming your way very soon!

    I think you used the right moss since this is mostly for display. Best not to remove "live moss" from it's habitat. Kudos to you.

    Ever since I saw the 2 pedestal moss planters on Seinfeld episode of George’s girlfriends parents, I’ve been wanting to make one. 😂

    Why not use real moss? Moss is practically maintenance free, especially in humid areas. In basements it will remove moisture from the air, helping to eliminate that musty, damp odor. If not in a humid area, it only requires an occassional mist spray.

    • @ValerieAguiar
      @ValerieAguiar  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Wow, didn’t know all of that about real moss, great to know! Thank you!

    • @rajjie100
      @rajjie100 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Valerie Aguiar don't use real moss , it's full of insects ! They now have sheets of the faux moss that has a spongy back so you can glue it over a form ( I use expanding spray foam insulation.) It looks real with no mess or insects .

      No Dear, it was fresh moss from Floral supplier. Why don't you try it and let me know how it worked for you. @@Komai.

    A live moss decoration would be more meaningful, but it's quite a nice piece for people who can't water plants in time hahaha

    • @ValerieAguiar
      @ValerieAguiar  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Kathie! I honestly can't remember 100% the exact cost, but if I had to guess, it would be probably around the $30 to $40 range! Hopefully that helps! 😊
