If you want your moss to live it must be kept moist so I don’t know why they would say that bc that’s why you are supposed to water soak it to revive it.. Great job! There actually a huge living moss & air plant display on the wall of my apartment lobby.. has to be sprayed! Also it’s supposed to put a gravel/pebble base .. I’ve watch terrarium videos & they will tell you how to grow moss.. I’m doing both my Native American decor mixed with Fairies!☺️
I was told that you can take floral spray like the kind you use to pray on live flowers and spray your moss back green once it has turned brown. I tried it and it worked.
Try using preserved moss rather than dried moss. Preserved moss retains the softness, texture and color of living moss but doesn't require any watering.
