Guys can you pray for me I’m 12 years old and have been feeling frightened by the pressure of the world and its evil and wickedness and really and played this game called Minecraft which I felt bad about because of some of the stuff that is in the game. I really need more faith and trust in God. And this video helped a lot and gave me bible verses I can really use and memorize and study.

I almost cried when he said if we die we are finally embraced in God's arm, father's arm. I was diagnosed as a thyroid cancer, and I was captured by fear. But I am christian, and I know God is my father. There is nothing to be worried about. Thanks for the great sermon.

I cannot remember a day without believing every promise God has given., Psalm 46 being one on my wall in my kitchen, but since April 26, 2019 changed my life... my 39 y.o. Son who once studied at a theological seminary in hopes to become a pastor. But something happened..I have been a pastoral assistant & Christian teacher for most of my 70 yrs.My heart feels like a smooth stone, God’s Word rolls over the top but does not penetrate. I am a regular churchgoer, I’ve not given up on God but I am weighed down not knowing if I will see my son in Heaven. I feel I am dragging myself through life. I go to sleep each night listening to your sermons...all the words I have supported others with during my ministry have little feeling inside me... Please pray for me...

I just saw this, Pam, and just prayed for you. I hope you're doing better. I know what it's like to be numb to God. Psalm 88 was written by someone who felt forsaken, and wondered why. Ultimately, feelings don't matter, the set of one's will does, and if you're a Christian, the set of your will is to honor Him.

"The people that do know their God shall be strong."
Every believer understands that to know God is the highest and best form of knowledge; and this spiritual knowledge is a source of strength to the Christian. It strengthens his faith. Believers are constantly spoken of in the Scriptures as being persons who are enlightened and taught of the Lord; they are said to "have an unction from the Holy One," and it is the Spirit's peculiar office to lead them into all truth, and all this for the increase and the fostering of their faith. Knowledge strengthens love, as well as faith. Knowledge opens the door, and then through that door we see our Saviour. Or, to use another similitude, knowledge paints the portrait of Jesus, and when we see that portrait then we love Him, we cannot love a Christ whom we do not know, at least, in some degree. If we know but little of the excellences of Jesus, what He has done for us, and what He is doing now, we cannot love Him much; but the more we know Him, the more we shall love Him. Knowledge also strengthens hope. How can we hope for a thing if we do not know of its existence? Hope may be the telescope, but till we receive instruction, our ignorance stands in the front of the glass, and we can see nothing whatever; knowledge removes the interposing object, and when we look through the bright optic glass we discern the glory to be revealed, and anticipate it with joyous confidence. Knowledge supplies us reasons for patience. How shall we have patience unless we know something of the sympathy of Christ, and understand the good which is to come out of the correction which our heavenly Father sends us? Nor is there one single grace of the Christian which, under God, will not be fostered and brought to perfection by holy knowledge. How important, then, is it that we should grow not only in grace, but in the "knowledge" of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Anyone else feel more anxious when they hear “Don’t waste you’re quarantine?” I am so busy with new demands from work that I’m much more fatigued and weary than usual.

Yes you surely feel like pressurized to do something and thought of just not doing anything bugs us when we realize we are just wasting time but I feel the real deal is that not to think as if though we are stuck but say it this is the time for me and I should take care of myself and build my relationship with Christ which we other wise tend to just wave off .. Think as if it's your me time and this time is for me and you can slowly start with really small things eventually. I hope this helps.

I could not agree more. The good news is that God is not telling us to not waste this quarantine, like some insensitive, but well-meaning parent (such as myself sigh). Instead God is calling us to be with Him. I worked countless hours at the beginning of this quarantine, praying I wouldn't loose my job, while all around me everyone was talking about what was on Netflix, or what they were baking, or what games they were playing with their kids. Along with somehow still trying to do some of that, I sought relief in exercise and hoped the endorphins would give me energy and mask all of the pressures that the enemy was using inside my head. Needless to say, God was gently nudging me to be, not to do. When I couldn't take it anymore as the months dragged on, I gave in to the sweet calling of my Savior. As the hymn says, Jesus is the lover of my soul and my soul longs to be with Him. "Be still and know that I am God" is a huge encouragement to my mind and heart. As the country opens up, there is still a pressure and taunting voices of what I didn't do, but I think of Jesus and the Holy Spirit calms and encourages my heart that I am exactly where I need to be. My prayer is that God will bless you with His sweet presence and grace in everything that you do and don't do.

    • @vanadium3
      @vanadium3 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

Hope you not anxious much anymore. I don't think they mean to add to your stress. I think they are suggesting to those who feel they can't be productive in quarantine. You are not wasting time if you're meeting work demands. What sounds like is you are being stressed out and no need to add more activity to your life. Slow down and regroup. God bless.

Kaleigh Sue I am sorry I did not see this last Year to emphasise with you. I respect the Kellers YET they are paid by their Vocations, book deals, interviews, and appearances; they had the TIME to Be Still in JESUS'S Presence before Covid, then more during Lockdown. My greatest Pain of the last 18 months is that no matter what Spiritual Discipline I did, I did not Encounter GOD, ONCE. THAT is not being met by those in my Church Community when I have asked for 1-1 Prayer; we are still in masks and not laying hands on one another and I am so concerned about the Cost of this on my health. I really do PRAY 🙏 that HOLY SPIRIT Moves with JESUS in a Sovereign encounter to redeem us both IN THE LAND OF THE LIVING. God Bless x!

    • @prov2.3-5
      @prov2.3-5 2 ปีที่แล้ว

@@leonardocastagna6640 I hear the pain in your voice and resentment towards God. Know this, God created a perfect world with no sin, no thorns, no disease, no curse. Our first ancestors, Adam and Eve, brought the Curse, in all its forms, into the world and passed it down to their children. The earth and it's creatures are still under this curse that brings death. But God, in his great love for us, didn't leave us in darkness, but came down into Satan's dominion and conquered the Curse and Satan's dominion over us by shedding his own blood and giving his own life. This act on the cross defeated death for all who trust in him alone, not in their own goodness. Our spirits can be born again when we believe, and no disease, or war or even death itself will ever be able to separate us from his love. One day, I believe very soon, Jesus will come back to finish the job; to judge those who have rejected his salvation because their sin is still on them, to give his own people immortal bodies, and to wipe every tear from our eyes. Jesus showed the Way. We overcome everything by what he has done for us. I pray for you to know the warmth of God's love and that understanding and grace will be given to you.

Thank you so much for these videos and podcast by Tim. What really stood out for me is the assurance that we are in Christ as children of God. As Tim said as a child of God bad things turns out for those who love the Lord, All good things given to us as children of God can not be taken away from us and the worst thing that can happen to us is death but we have peace because we are going to be in the father's arm and with him. God is indeed good.

The River of Our God - There is none likened unto the Lord. He is full of love, of grace, of mercy, of hope, of compassion and all of the promises of God are yes and amen. He smiles upon His called, His chosen, His elect and His heart of compassion is opened unto His precious and beloved bride. For the Bridegroom, the Beloved Husbandman, our King, is a God overflowing with love, compassion, tender mercies and gracious thoughts towards us. There is a mighty river that flows, that is flowing, that flows, which comes from the heart of God. There is a mighty river, that flows, which is flowing, that touches our hearts and changes our lives. For the river of our God is good, and through and in Christ, we bask in His heavenly waters, poured forth richly, even as deep cries out to deep. Sometimes we stick our toes in to test the waters, and the Lord says; the river is good. Other times we go in ankle deep, and the Lord says; the river is good. Other times we go in waist deep and the Lord says; the river is good. Sometimes we hang onto our safety bars, and the Lord says; the river is flowing, and the river is good. Come, come, come, into the waters. It‘s ok, we can let go of our safety bars, and trust Him, because the river is good, the river is flowing, and the river is the river of God. Drink deep beloved. Drink deep the goodness of your God. Bask in His presence, in His love, in His compassion, and in His tender mercies. For you are loved with an everlasting love and precious in His sight!!!

Isaiah 40:27-31, 1Peter5:7, Phillipians 4:4-8, Psalm 4:8, psalm 54:4... God loves you and understands your struggles. Grab hold of some scripture, His word to you. Memorize it. When you wake up at night meditate on that scripture and thank Him for all He is and all He has done for you, and all the people in your life. God will restore you, seek Him and you will find Him.

"How joyful and gladsome must the thoughts of Jesus Christ be to a Christian - to think how great a love Christ has for us even to lay down his life and suffer the most bitter torments for our sake, who also now continually intercedes for us at the throne of Grace. To consider that so great a person as the eternal son of God who also made the world is not ashamed to call us brethren, who will come in and sup with us and, us with him, and we will see his arms expanded to embrace us, and we will see him offering himself to be embraced by us. Therefore, you may now look down upon the whole army of worldly afflictions and suffering and you can consider with joy that however great they are and however numerous even though they might join all their forces together against you and put on their most rueful and dreadful habits forms and appearances and spend all their strength vigor and violence against you they cannot do you any real hurt or mischief and it will all be in vain. You may triumph over them all if you know these things!"
    - Jonathan Edwards

Keep strong. Dont forget that despite the evil in this world, God is full of justice, mercy and love.
Justice said we broke His perfect law - causing the world's previous perfection to be destroyed - and therefore we deserve Hell (like a punishment in any legal system but this is eternal as His perfect law is eternal too). Don't think you fit in that category? Ever done one of these?: lying, stealing - regardless of how small the object EVER, hating others - which is murder in God's perfect law, lusting (plus God sees our entire thought life). Justice says "the soul that sins shall die".
BUT, mercy said "I dont want to give them what they deserve. I don't want them to be cut off from Me. I love them despite all they have done/will do against Me. I want to give My children another chance. I want them to come home and live in My love again".
And love said "Jesus, God's Son, came down as a Man, our representative, suffering every temptation, pain and struggle we have ever faced, yet without sin. He took all our sins (past/present/ even future) to the cross and then crucified EVERY ONE on our behalf. Justice was paid on the cross so that we can be free from Hell's punishment, experience Gods mercy of forgiveness of sin and live in His love. If we turn from the sins we have committed and repent (turn away from our sin and pursue the opposite direction of love through Christ) He will, overtime, recreate us back into that previously perfect image through The Holy Spirit which Jesus sends to all who accept Him as their personal Lord and Savior of their life.
He is in Heaven right now preparing a place for us so that He can take His faithful, believing children home with Him when He returns. He will ressurrect us from death when He returns, giving mercy to those who accept His love, instruction and teachings in their life, and give justice to those who refuse it.
He doesn't want ANY of us to go to Hell and die for continuing in evil and rejecting His way to life, thats why He died FOR us. He wants us to be His and begin to follow His life of love and service through Him (not ourselves as it's impossible without depending on His power and instruction). So long as we keep our hearts near to Christ through His strength, strive to obey His will of perfect love revealed in the Bible, and ask Him to help us in the midst of (very certain) pitfalls and struggles, we will, in time, win the victory over sin, pain and DEATH through Christ. Even if you are willing to be made willing, pray for Jesus to come in and He will.
NOTE: You are NEVER too sinful or messed up that God cannot turn your life around through Jesus. EVER
If you have any questions let me know! Xx

"Bad things will turn out for good ,good things can never be taken away and the best is still to come".
Friedrich Nietzsche father was a Lutheran priest , unfortunately he lost his father dues to a mental illness and Nietzsche would unfortunately suffer the same fate. Nietzsche also fell in love and the woman he proposed to refused to marry him. Nietzsche continually suffered in both in health and loneliness. So many innocent people fall victims to the un Godly realities of life .
Why do so many people who love find loneliness?
Why do so man people who are beautiful get treated as been inferior ?
Then Jesus separated the sheep from the goats.
The sheep felt empathy whilst the goats continued living their selfish lives.
As Christians it is our duty to give hope, faith and love so that people like Nietzsche and suicide victims are given love. If you witness evil and you have not got the courage to stand up for your lesser man then good will not come to you.

What about the people who have lost their income that will lead to losing their home and all personal belongings? I'm told massive foreclosures are on the way. What about these people who are about to become victims of the Government. Good decent people now forced to live on the street? They will die a lonely death.

    NIV is a jesuit bible.
    Who is our only Creator?
Who creates our breath when we sin? Who creates the devil? Who creates evil? (All present tense on purpose…)
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Job 2:10 But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.
Jeremiah 26:13 Therefore now amend your ways and your doings, and obey the voice of the LORD your God; and the LORD will repent him of the evil that he hath pronounced against you.
26:19 Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah put him at all to death? did he not fear the LORD, and besought the LORD, and the LORD repented him of the evil which he had pronounced against them? Thus might we procure great evil against our souls.
Zephaniah 1:12 And it shall come to pass at that time, that I will search Jerusalem with candles, and punish the men that are settled on their lees: that say in their heart, The LORD will not do good, neither will He do evil.
Ezekiel 14:22 Yet, behold, therein shall be left a remnant that shall be brought forth, both sons and daughters: behold, they shall come forth unto you, and ye shall see their way and their doings: and ye shall be comforted concerning the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, even concerning all that I have brought upon it.

This guy does not read or respond to any of your texts. He displays proudly all the teachings of men that he reads behind him. He has no mention that Psalm 46 is also a prophecy about the Day of the Lord when mountains and islands fall into the sea and the earth melts. This is because he is clueless about it.
