hello @Anthony9592 I have had street xg 750 for 2 months. Unfortunately, during the trip, when the fan stopped working when I was parked, it could not be turned on. the mechanic who is not connected to the bikes is connected to the fan short switch to get him home. when I arrived, my battery was discharged.
OMG - You have to deconstruct the half motocycle for the batterychange. And how you`ll get the negative wire back there? I`ll use a cable to redo it. Nice video. Thanks a lot.
I have replaced my street 750 battery i.e. 12V12A with 12V9A..can you tell me if this can cause any issues or may be not good for the starter motor and relays?? Please advise if you have any idea on same. Thanks in Advance Sir.🙂
Ha ha... Bro, don't call me Sir.. sounds odd.. Anyway coming to your question, it is okay to use a battery with a slightly lower Ah (as you have done from 12ah to 9ah) . But for all intents and purposes, it is always advisable to stick to the specified battery.. The problem of using a lower Ah battery is that it drains out faster. And the electric starter might drain the battery faster if the Ah is lower, especially if you are constantly stopping and turning off your engine while riding your Harley for short distances. In such a case, the alternator might not have the time to charge your battery to the full and you might eventually have to charge it using an external battery charger that Harley provides as accessory. However, given that not many power consuming electrical components are in a Street 750, I am certain that 9ah battery that you replaced with is fine.. But try replacing your halogen headlight with an LED one and if possible disable the DRL like i did on my bike by installing external switches.. That way you can preserve the ampere hour of your battery...✌️
Yes, you are right about the steps being lengthy. It could also be removed without the top panel being removed, but then some extra exertion is required to pull the battery out and in the process one could snap a wire or damage the breather hose. And about the left side of the bike, you need to remove the side panel and the chain cover to unscrew the nut that holds the negative line in place.. ✌
I’m going to change the battery on 2018 Harley sport rod and your video will help me!!! Thank you!!!
All the best, Brother!!
Paruol I think you'll be the first guy to own Harley 750 in entire Barak valley and whole of tripura... May God bless you with more knowledge...

There were Ssooo Many extra steps not required in this video. Nothing on the left side of the bike has to be removed…
