Lovely video ... I am new and enjoyed .. love that you speak english and french it helps me with the accent ... the cafes and interesting areas are my favourite watch 🤍
That was truly magical!! Thank you for sharing it with us. I would love you to do a few hidden galleries. All of your videos are so inspiring and entertaining. I’m telling all my friends about them. Your style is unique and interesting. Merci beaucoup
Awesome video. It is actually a lovely documentary full of facts, scenery and great background music. Yes, another video on homes of famous French icons such as Victor Hugo, etc would be an excellent undertaking. Merci beaucoup!
I found St Germain des Pres to be my favorite part of Paris! While a bit further down, one of my favorite spots was the Rue Mouffetard by the Patheon. Had my first escargot at Le Soufflot right around the corner from where you ended. Can't wait to come back!
I loved this video, and “yes” to all your video suggestions. We aim to return to visit Paris this summer and the 5th and 6th arrondissements are #1 on my list as we missed them last time. Thank you for a quality video and your sincere enthusiasm.
It transported me to Paris and it brought back memories of my time there!
Yes a video of hidden gem museums and one on hidden gem restaurants on St Germain des Pres! Thank you for your lovely and informative video! My first and I joyfully subscribed!
This was a great video - I love this neighborhood. I am very interested in the less known museums. I have visited a few and they were wonderful so I am always interested in learning about more!.
We are going to Paris for the very first time and we are staying in Sainte Germaine after searching different neighborhoods for a long time. Can’t wait for February 14 to come so we can start exploring Paris.
A (three) king cake is a cake baked on the occasion of the Feast of the Epiphany. An object such as a bean, coin or porcelain figurine is hidden in the frangipane cake. The person who finds it in his piece of cake is ‘king(s)’ that day and gets to wear a crown. (A gold-plated paper crown is sold with each cake) There are many variations, depending on the country. In our country, Belgium. A baker from Saint-Gilles is hiding gold coins in his Three Kings cakes once again this year. Last year, he was able to sell 3,000 cakes that way on 6 January.
Wonderful video. I love these hidden gems for my next trip to Paris. I’m learning French so I like your style of 1/2 English/French. Good for my ears to adapt. Definitely a video on everything that you recommended. 😊 Merci
Merci!!! I just found your channel and love it. I’m trying to learn French and appreciate your bilingual comments. PLEASE make all the videos you mentioned that might be of interest-hidden gems and exploring different neighborhoods are EXCELLENT ideas. I recently visited Paris and want to go back asap so I can explore your recommendations. ❤
I love the neighbourhoods in Paris concept -look forward to more. I’ve really been enjoying watching your videos and hearing how to say French words properly (including “ Jean Paul Satre “)!
I enjoy your videos so much. Thank you for all your thoughtful effort. I speak French, but not very well. I love that film A Man and A Woman. I visited my friend and language partner of 8 1/2 years last Feb and we explored different areas of Paris over 16 days. I had stayed in St. Germain years ago so we went to other areas including chateaux in the rural parts north west of Paris. I wanted to explore the Marais more, but we ran out of time. Yes to museums! I didn’t make it to the small ones on my list. Merci mademoiselle. 😊
Would be lovely to see a video of the restored Notre Dame. I’m learning French and I’m really enjoying your video. Merci. Your presentation is delightful.
Coucou Gabrielle! Magnifiques! I love your style of mixing English and French! Please, keep on with the excellent work and Bonne Année!
Continuez votre bon travail !
I love your videos. The content is great but I esp love the dual language that you do. I am trying to train my ears to know verbal French since most of my vocab is from a book. I can't wait to watch your other videos! Merci beaucoup.
Hilarious that you tried to ask for a modification to the menu! Thank you for mixing the French and English, it will help my ear training immensely. (You would think living in Paris would do that, but real people don’t come with subtitles LOL)
St Germain used to be artistic long time ago. Now a days it is one of the most touristic commercial parts of Paris. You can find artists & arts in 20th district, 19th, 10th, 11th Montreuil Pantin...
wow this is a great way to get my french going, I want so bad to learn french, but it always gets rusty because i never use it, but im going to continue watching your videos, hopefully i will learn , greetings from Iceland
❤️❤️❤️ what is name ??? Of the “ objects of art snd curiosity” shop you passed. It had red wall. ❓❓❓looks way fun. Also - do u know about the shop - You snd EYE ? They take photos of you iris in your eye. Looks way cool - u might like if you are a film photographer like myself !!! ❤️❤️❤️ thank you so much !!!!!
I was in Paris this past fall and I came across The Coffee Flower Shop when I was wondering through the streets. The first time I paid cash and left some change on the table. The next time I went, I paid with credit card. I tapped my card and was looking at desserts. I didn't hear the usual "ding" (or bell sound). When I looked to see if my card had gone through the system, the person behind the counter pointed to the screen and said "You need to pick the amount of tip you want charged to your card." I was taken aback and punched 15% almost by accident. The payment went through. So I am wondering if everyone who used a card there got that same "tip" screen? Though I always tried to use my poor French when ordering, I was probably obviously American. (I usually wore a baseball cap). This "do you want to add a tip to your card" happened several times in Paris. (Always by the way at restaurants that were recommended by You Tubers or travel guides). Do native French also get this request? Or am I being taken advantage of?
I am more interested in Notre Dame, buildings, Jardin de Luxembourg and other parks, also independent shops/cafes, less interested in restaurants/crowded/touristy places, merci

Second that. Your personal objective evaluation of restaurants/food would be very welcome.
Make videos about everything. Everything!! STP!!!
Hidden Museums: Don't forget Victor Hugo, Gustave Moreau, the Passionate Life, and of course, Musée Carnavalet.
I am more interested in Notre Dame, buildings, Jardin de Luxembourg and other parks, also independent shops/cafes, less interested in restaurants/crowded/touristy places, merci
