I always go to cooking stores in La Halle and buy made in France items. All souvenirs have to be made in the country I'm visiting and not China. Grocery stores have the best chocolate and the bakeries have marshmallow baby Jesus in a manger for Christmas. My nieces were impressed. We bought Dior glass frames during the sale and had the scrip put in after getting home. Paris is always ahead of trends by two years.
@@jkd246 E. Dehillerin has the best cooking merch. The cookie cutters are even marked made in France. I buy wooden cooking utensils, smaller cutting boards and if checking luggage we have brought home their knifes. They are all marked with the store name/made in france.I've bought tart pans etc. I also go to the grocery and buy chocolate and spices. Herbs de Provence from France. Shakespeare and Company have great signed children's books from local authors if you have kids in the family. Sometimes museum shops have items not made in China.
Arielle, I've said this many times before when leaving a comment on your videos, you are just so adorable! I loved this video, so sweet and what a wonderful collection of authentic fare to explore rather than the usual tourist yuck! I know as I live in San Francisco and we have our fair share of tacky tourist garbage people are sucked into. Thank you for showing this, I will visit some of these when I next visit.
Thanks for sharing so many unique ideas for souvenirs from Paris! I didn't know you could bring cheese back to Canada, or that you could get it packed sous-vide - this is so helpful to know!
Yeah!! Thank you Jean (hope I spelled that correctly)! You are such a supportive partner and you English is coming along nicely! 🤗 Hats off to both of you!!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I use my *yutulu* as a work bag and have had no issues at all. It’s a comfortable bag, fits a good amount and hadn’t lost its shape. With that being said, I also take care of all my bags and don’t carry a water bottle, pens, keys or anything that can damage the interior.
TBH, I think the greatest thing one can treat oneself to in Paris is a baking class. I took a class and now make croissants, pain au chocolat, kougin Amman and pain aux raisins. My Parisien husband is incredibly happy on the weekends!!
Fantastic list! May I add one more? Marin Montagut, rue Madame. Whimsical, French-made, artsy store - perfect for unique gifts (for yourself - and others)! I go here every time I’m in Paris in the spring. Absolutely adore this place.
Great video! Loved the variety of ideas that you shared. Moreover I appreciate you taking the time to show prices in USD and CAD, as well as cross border tips. Jean (who is so sweet) did an amazing job, and so thank you both for working together to bring this content to life!
Jean is a very good and steady cameraman. I should know - I married mine from Toronto (via Belfast). He was the first cameraman at CityPulse with Gordon Martineau.
Going to try when I arrive in Paris this December items from the La Maison Élysée adjacent to the Élysée Palace especially the Pierre Lannier watch which has the French Presidential seal on the dial which I saw in their website, the items in their Boutique are truly "Made in France 🇫🇷'. Bonjour from Manila, Philippines 🇵🇭.
So informative! Thank you so much! I wish Canada would permit us to bring butter! It's so frustrating that they have that restriction unless you're coming from the US....
This was fun. Now I would love to come to Paris. And just go in the shops to see what they have. I can’t speak the language. So I would have to learn some of it before I came. I have Google translate on my phone. I guess I could use that. I saw a man at the UPS store who didn’t speak English and that’s what he was using. But he spoke Spanish and there was a girl there who spoke Spanish. So she took over waiting on him..
It’s been a couple of days since the closing ceremony of the Olympics and honestly…..as someone who’s never watched the Olympics before up until this one, I’ve always loved Paris but now I love it even more. Since the opening ceremony I’ve been creating an itinerary for myself and my family for when we finally visit and so far….I have like 30 things listed in terms of food, activities, shopping, sight-seeing.
I once saw on Globe Trekker a French chocolatier told Justine never to bite into a piece of chocolate. The proper way to indulge in a chocolate was to place the entire piece into your mouth, let it come to body temperature, swirl with your tongue and then swallow. BTW thumbs up on this video.
Hi Arielle, enjoying your videos, wherewill you be watching the ooening ceremony of the Para Olympics ,let us know ,fan park? Please also make a accessible video of how to get around dor people with disabilities.thank you
Your title has a typo unless FORM is the new or French version of FROM - lol Can you bring home the pastry or categorize it as a souvenir? That alone has me misled by your title as people back home expecting souvenirs would probably hate the not so fresh pastry that even you consumed on camera (the same day it was baked) rather than actually packing in your suitcase to take back home (stale) as stated in your title.
I can’t believe it took 30k views for someone to correct me hahaha thank you ! 😂 and you can totally take home pastries, I do it every time ! Just get a Tupperware container and go to the bakery before your flight or train ride home !
Do you know the expression “if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say it at all ?” None forced or asked you to watch my videos, and there is no need to be rude when I choose to put content online for free to help people with their trip to Paris .
While you articulate more clearly than most young women your age, you still SPEAK TOO RAPIDLY!! You make it difficult to distinguish what you are saying. Never assume that all viewers enjoy the concerted effort to replay your words at a slower pace in our minds. It's exhausting.
Superbe et magnifique vidéo touristique- culturelle de la semaine
Thank you for showing us! I stuff my *yutulu* bags with anything, even clothes! Thick scarfs work well rolled up. I even stuff my cheap ones!

Where can you find all souvenirs made in France? I will be in Paris next month. Thanks

Jean did a great job as always! He’s such a great camera man and always enjoy when he takes part as well. You both complement each other so well.
I have a wine colored one *yutulu* Tabby cat bag, I love this bag. I actually swapped two straps and put a chain on it and I'm obsessed with it
Thanks for sharing so many unique ideas for souvenirs from Paris! I didn't know you could bring cheese back to Canada, or that you could get it packed sous-vide - this is so helpful to know!
You two are such a wonderful team!! ❤ Great work!!
Thanks for your recommendations! I got the fig and white chocolate bread, it was so worth the calories. Really delicious
Yeah!! Thank you Jean (hope I spelled that correctly)! You are such a supportive partner and you English is coming along nicely! 🤗 Hats off to both of you!!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

TOTALLY ! ☺️ where did you take the class if you don’t mind me asking ?
Omg; I want to do this. All museums and operas and moulin rouge are booked so this will bed fun
I'm also taking a baguette making class next month.
Very fun look at some great shops! And kudos to the camera man!

Ahhh I’ll have to check it out !! 🤩
Thank you so much Arielle! You are adorable, and smart, and very informative!!!

Jean is a very good and steady cameraman. I should know - I married mine from Toronto (via Belfast). He was the first cameraman at CityPulse with Gordon Martineau.
Lovely and yummy looking content! Cheese and chocolate are two of my favorite things in the world! ❤
The variety of textures in the *yutulu* pack is impressive. From smooth leather to textured suede, there's something for everyone.
Going in September…..gonna visit everything on your list…❤….oh and bisous for Jean…..❤
Great video! Shared it with two friends🎉❤😊
Hi Arielle, great job to Jean, love the tips of new store! Yummy

Creative idea for a video!
I was not hungry before I started watching this, I certainly am now. 😂
Great video.

All those edibles look scrumptious!!! Good thing I cannot afford to travel anywhere anymore, I'd return from a visit to France a real fat person.....
Been clicking on your channel weeks now for weightloss update 😂

Ah interesting method ! Some chocolate have a harder coating though like the moules I showed 🤔 it might take a while to melt down haha
Thank you
enjoyed :)

👍Jean!
do you need my address to send that gorgeous cheese to? 🙂 i live all of the separate stores. my dad would have loved the sardine shop. thank you.🌸
How is the weather in November?
Can you buy online from any of these stores?
Fleux is a wonderful place--give yourself at least an hour.
👍🏼👍🏼
🤓❤️🥐🧀🧡
Those are nice but very expensive. I’ll stick to the cheap Chinese souvenirs on mont martre 🤣
Your title has a typo unless FORM is the new or French version of FROM - lol

8 years in Paris… and when you speak French you just mumble… as a French Canadian with French parents, I don’t know what to say… 😅

4:50 so annoying music
56 Euro for a t-shirt? quoi!?!?!

I did not find this to be true. Perfectly understandable.
I also don't think she speaks too fast. I really liked this video
I am 87 years of age, and find her pace exhilarating and concise!!
Sorry Gary! Majority has decided she speaks fine😂 ❤okaayyy😅
😂 she is perfect
If you are one of us, addicted to *yutulu* this show, please gather here ❤❤❤
