At 22:37 the wood item you are calling a knife sharpener - I believe it to be a knife holder from late 1940’s or early 1950’s. My mom had one almost identical to it. Hers had a rooster painted on it and had a matching hamburger patty smasher. They hung in the kitchen wall when I was tiny. I had forgotten about them until seeing this.
Cathrineholm is the name of the factory in Norway which produces the products. I think we all thought it was a lovely designer person named Catherine Holm at some point! We live and we learn. 😊
Seeing all those clocks made me 😢think that some wonderful old soul had this collection and they passed and now this is how what they loved so much is no longer loved.
I’m in Sydney Australia and our charity shops are generally overpriced rubbish. Once though, about five years ago, I found a lovely blue enamel Finel soup pot for $5. It has a big ole chip on the lid enamel but otherwise it’s fabulous. I’ve been living off that find since.
Love your videos. How do you always find the cutest treasures at Goodwill. I live on California and rarely find any cute treasures at our Goodwill stores.
Goodwill in the New Orleans area are bare other than trash items. The shelves are bare and the warehouse full of all the good items for the workers ro share amongst themselves. Although a cashier once told me she was thinking about buying an item of mine because how much it was selling for online.
I am disappointed that I have to destroy the original packaging when I donate un-needed craft supplies and stamp sets. I want them to be bought by people who will love them and use them---not by folks who stick them on EBay and sell them for triple the original price.
I had a beautiful three tiered wrought iron corner shelf that I wanted to donate to Goodwill. They guy kept pointing to a corner and said mold, can't take. I try to tell him that iron patinas green over time. Then he said it was broke. I unfolded it and showtime that it wasn't broke and was very sturdy. I don't know what's going on at our Goodwill 🙄. He finally took it, but I'll take my good donations elsewhere next time. I never donate garbage so this was bazaar.
lol I know I’ve been to Thurmont Goodwill too much when the first part of the video I recognized the background 🤣😂🤣 Thanks for the video! 🤩🫶🏼☀️ I might head there today!
It’s too bad that the clock fell and scared you off. I’ll bet there were some valuable clocks among all those Crystal and ceramic clocks in that collection!
Anyways, just a suggestion that could be alot of fun!! You are absolutely awesome and I can't get enough of your videos. Thank you so much for taking us along on your treasure adventures!!!
Things do slip by. Found a Steiff Teddy Baby at Savers for 3.50 yesterday. Tag says “Made in US-Zone Germany”. Trying to date it but Steiff websites can’t seem to agree! LOL

I have never seen goodwills as nice as the ones you go to.

My grandma had the set with the rooster too!
Our goodwills in Illinois are never ever that full, at any given time! 😢
The ones in Missouri suck, too
none of mine near me in MD are either.
Road-trip!!!!❤❤🎉🎉
Mine all have stuff from 2 college towns within 7 miles. So yeah....
Not the best stuff.
Here in Indiana. I think I d pass out if even 2 shelves were this full.
Thank you for your time and video
That green tea pot makes me smile!😀😀😀

Made me chuckle when you said there's 💩 in the back then realised it was Pooh. Lol. 😅
There is no time like now to learn about clocks!
Cathrineholm was the factory. Small lotus pattern on cobalt.
Hello from Germany! That Catherineholm bowl is so beautiful..I would like to find one as well..😊
I love it when Goodwill doesn’t know the value of everything!

Some of those crystal clocks could have been Waterford
Fused glass plate at 5:44 is made with a fusing glass called Spirit in the New Orleans color.
It’s good to show that you can walk in and find nothing. Wish more of the TH-cam videos would show that. Thanks again for sharing.
I have that exact Pyrex bowl set, it belonged to my mom. It's actually a set of 3 bowls with the clear glass lids!❤
Some of those clocks could be Waterford Crystal, you have to check the bottoms 😊
Stretch glass at the Goodwill !!! You have thrifting luck ! I love the color too.
The deer are my faves
Girl with goose was a steal! LE Smith♡
Smoky blue swung glass! Sweet! Beautiful bowl and teapot. Too bad no sugar bowl for the pretty creamer.

It’s always exciting to find something that you love in the wild…and the price is great, too! Congrats on finding your swung vase, it was pretty! ✌🏼❤️
The little brass cannon has value
Love your videos. How do you always find the cutest treasures at Goodwill. I live on California and rarely find any cute treasures at our Goodwill stores.

Nope. Le Smith
It looks like the Goebel version, not is Goebel. Thanks, now I know it’s LE Smith
