This might actually be my absolute favourite Kylie song, it's just drenched in ethereal sensuality, so seductive and subtle - and that jazz piano is sooo awesome! Another stone-cold Kylie classic. She sure knows how to pick producers though - the instrumentals are always exceptional and complement her voice so fluidly.
In reality the UK radio stations outside of radio 2 don't play women over 40 much and 50 well that's unheard of. For her to return to indie slash IP dance would be the end. Let's all hope the world rights itself and we can at least get another tour in 2022. 🙏

The black and white cinematography, the makeup, the way her eye color radiates against the eye makeup, the angles, the sensuality, the way she talks her lyrics combined with the singing moments, the way the song in the bridge goes up up up until it climaxes with the guy coming up out of the water to embrace her and kiss her. Just absolutely perfect.

Diminishing all the pioneers of the genre. I know this makes me sound dismissive of kylie but I'm not a hater I'm a fan, but these people massively overrate her strengths. Impossible Princess is a masterpiece album (and that one she wrote herself!) And her self titled 94 album is phenomenal aswell.

Some fans also seem to forget that this was only around 10 years into the MTV generation. Madonna, although I'm not a huge fan, did do a lot of 'firsts'.
