I took my Kylie obsessed 16 year old daughter to the Kiss Concert in Adelaide Australia, she cried when Kylie and Georgio came out, she said , I can't believe I'm seeing them in real life. This song is everything.
Someone please tell me why this isn't a huge hit. It's a goddamn masterly-crafted disco-infused pop song, at just the right time when several disco/funk influenced hits have come out the past few years (Get Lucky, Treasure, Blurred lines if you count it etc). It's a great song that fits snugly in the trends of its time, so why hasn't it scratched the top 40 in US or UK and not even 1 million views on youtube?
Good questions. I think basically the taste of the radio music editors can be blamed. But if this song is not going to be an instant BIG hit, than it's going to be a LONG-LASTING hit in Kylie's repertoire.
