January 13, 2022. Thank you all for such a wonderful childhood. Last night was amazing to come together with the community one last time. I played Halo 3 for a while, and ended with Reach. Reach was the last game I ever played with my best friend before she passed away last year, which just so happened to be January 13th as well. Gives the saying "Remember Reach" a much stronger meaning to me now. Thank you all for the memories.

Downloaded this song to my iPod many years ago. I still listen to it. I'm with everyone else here. This song does indeed make me sad. Its like, he's so happy and excited to play Halo 3 and decides to go online, only to be disheartened when he learns that its not what he expects. Death after death only makes him disappointed even more. The last shot of you walking away on The Storm kind of makes me happy/sad to know that it didn't work out like he dreamed, but now he's back to what he originally loved: The campaign.

I periodically return to this video for nostalgia and to cheer me up during my most stressful of times as an adult. This song takes me back to a time when life was entirely simpler, a time that is gone forever but deeply missed. Everyday I thank Christ that I got to experience Halo in its glory days and I thank every single developer at Bungie that developed Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, and Halo: Reach. I will never forget these days as I had a ton of fun, miss playing the Campaign, Custom Games, and Matchmaking with my Xbox Live buds. Nothing in Gaming has matched this since then and nothing ever will. I wish I could go to sleep and wake up only to discover that I was transported back to 2007 - 2012.

I've been listening to this song for so long, since my older brother introduced me to Halo 3 in 2009, and later Halo Reach. And I keep coming back. To me, this is essential to listen to while playing Halo, as when I first started playing I was so bad at it. By now, I think I could say I got a lot better, but I still find myself coming back here just to listen to this beautiful song. I only hope that the creator of this song fully understands how great this piece of art is.

This song makes me sad. I still love and play Halo 3 and Reach but there will be no more great Halo games now that 343 is running the show. Halo 4 was a disappointment and Bungie's last game "Destiny" did not live up to Halo's greatness.
