Reach will always be my favorite Halo. I love the campaign. Every single level. The overall story and mood, particularly in the back half of the game, is perfect, and I feel like it tells the true story of Human-Covenant war better than any other Halo (on par with ODST, maybe). It's kind of refreshing to see the story told from the perspective of someone other than Master Chief, and seeing Spartans actually die throughout the campaign makes you feel less invincible. It's also really cool to be able to play with your own Spartan.

Next, on nightfall, before fighting the Guta, grab the plasma turret the grunt was using. It melts them down before they can even get to you
In my opinion, Halo Reach, CE, and Infinite provide the most accurate in-universe portrayals of what fighting these aliens would actually be like for a Spartan.
I don't think that Infinite is accurate to the lore. I would say that you're given a grappling hook that can defy the laws of physics Just Cause style... but Infinite doesn't even have fall damage. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recomend playing halo reach campign with a rebalance mod (I think the only one thats up to date rn is mythic overhaul), it just makes the experiance so much better by smoothing out reaches kinda really bad internal sandbox balance for PvE. Also, the reason you dont just put cortana in your head is becuase the MKV(b) platform doesnt have support for an onboard AI (untill multiplayer of halo infinite but thats likley due to upgrades), cheifs proper MKV he wears in CE is the FIRST halo armor that can house an AI.
I also(when I'm not lazy) downloaded mythic overhaul and am currently working to rebalanced the legendary difficulty of it cause it is worse then the og halo reach
The trick for the saber section is to use the space station/cruiser itself for cover and take sharp turns around its sections to cut off line of sight.

Playing as the immortal Chief for so long it was wild to see Spartans being mortal
0:35 LMAO good one 😂
I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recomend playing halo reach campign with a rebalance mod (I think the only one thats up to date rn is mythic overhaul), it just makes the experiance so much better by smoothing out reaches kinda really bad internal sandbox balance for PvE.
Also, the reason you dont just put cortana in your head is becuase the MKV(b) platform doesnt have support for an onboard AI (untill multiplayer of halo infinite but thats likley due to upgrades), cheifs proper MKV he wears in CE is the FIRST halo armor that can house an AI.
I also(when I'm not lazy) downloaded mythic overhaul and am currently working to rebalanced the legendary difficulty of it cause it is worse then the og halo reach
not really? if anything its too easy due to how much power powerful the player is and the reduced damage multiplier.@@nicolae-alexandruluca7853
I loved the mythic overhaul campaign. At least on heroic anyway. Being able to make my guns super accurate by crouching was a game changer.
The trick for the saber section is to use the space station/cruiser itself for cover and take sharp turns around its sections to cut off line of sight.
Me: do a flip
Frog: textbook
Some great one-liners in here, nice work
Won't ever forget earning the buckle up buttercup achievement on our 360 with my brother. That shit felt sooo good.
While its not my absolute favorite, Reach holds such a special place in my heart among the series.
It'll be one of the best halo there is halo 3 and 1 are the only ones that rank alongside it
@@jamesk5541 that’s not saying much those are the only other good ones outside of 2
@@MILDMONSTER1234 halo 1,2,3,Odst,Reach,halo wars 1/2 all amazing games. 4,5 both sucked and infinite was meh tier but tbh the campaign was fun
2 to me, is the best one
Emile watching noble six jumping off a cliff 100 times trying to assassinate an elite:
Im trying to do my playthrough and at that 2:30 section where you get the AA guns live i used the orbital strike on the building to descimate the elite uptop 😂
"Surely it will come later in the game as well."
Still waiting...
I quite literally just replayed reach on legendary. 3 days of pure suffering finally over.
"look at that big old brain on Kat" *cuts to the headshot 💀
I'm currently doing my Heroic playthrough, and I'm not only dreading the Legendary playthrough but also the LASO playthrough
Honestly thumbnail would've been better if the Elite was holding a Needle Rifle like a bat
Sword Control man sounds like mission control from that old MechWarrior 3 game.
So glad I am not the only one who kept exploding in that damn space combat section on Legendary... like, dude, they are _so_ aggressive and _so_ accurate. At times I played the same section 10 times.
