The World Trade Center towers appear several times in Spiderman (2002) and the North Tower and 7 WTC briefly appears in Spiderman 2 (2004). We can assume in the alternate Rami universe, the original WTC still exists.

If Spider-Man 1 was set in 2001
It was in production in 2001 but possibly takes place in 2001 or 2002 as that's when the film was released

Harry was working at the WTC and offering a job to Peter. Harry knew Pete was Spider-Man. MJ was rejecting Peter who was crazy for her, but then took a "revenge" when Gwen kissed him and MJ saw it.

What happened to the field in Pennsylvania and the Pentagon?
I focused on making Spidey saving specifically Twin Towers. He probably would have prevented United 93 and Flight 77 crashing as well.
