My only pair of red wing heritage but in charcoal r&t. Break in has been a breeze honestly. Absolutely love the IR silhouette.
Thanks Jeff, yeah IRs FTW! by the way, the Charcoal R&T seems to have a slight brownish tone right?
Awesome boots!!! I enjoyed your video. 👍🏻
Thanks Sen 10!
Nice review man! Please do more videos about Red Wing Boots!
Thanks man! I will certainly do.
Got the Charcoal Rough and tough 2 weeks ago.. Love em.
Cool, wear them in good health! That leather is easier to break-in.
Probably my next target color for the IR Collection
Thanks, what IR model/s do you have right now?
I ordered the Black Harness boots a few days ago. I think all the Iron Ranger boots look better the more worn they are. I didn't buy them for style or dress or any of that stuff. I bought them to use every day.
+1. You can check my other Red Wing videos, I mostly apply Bick4 to them as I’d like to retain their worn-in look.
Just got the 8084s. I'm thinking of blackening the cork part around the edges to give them an all black look. Thoughts?
Hey man congrats! I actually prefer the opposite as I always clean that part to keep the welt area brown and the stitching white.
How and where did you get those boots by the way? Nice ones!
I bought them at Nordstrom. The black harness really look sharp, and the white stitching pops out nicely. Thanks!
Just got these last week. Yet to wear them its so hot out. Can’t wait to wear them. Do you use the redwing care products? I got mink oil was thinking of getting the conditioner
Congrats man. Yeah, due to hot SoCal weather, I’m back to wearing my Converse and NBs. I mostly use Bick4 for my light color leathers and Lexol for darker colors.
Nice i have navy portage noc toes, and copper rough And tough blacksmiths. How old are your ir?
Thanks man. That's a solid combo you got there.
These are about 5 years old. If I have to buy another Red Wings, It has to be the Blacksmith CR&Ts. I find the Blacksmiths to be easier to break-in.
