Would be cool if you could explain how the quick release brake lines work in a future video. My brain can't help but be suspicious they are introducing a tiny bit of air when reconnecting, even though they apparently do not.
Absolutely brilliant viewing Dave! This bike will be mega! With Matt, the team, you & champion Franco, this year is going to be amazing! All the best & get cracking 🔥
Love these videos Dave. The excitement is building for the new season. I honestly thought you were going to say one of the reasons Franco wasn't bedding in the brakes was because he has his manservant do it for him. 😂
Thanks for the upload. Would appreciate one of your explainers on rising rate linkages and how the variations affect handling. I kind of get it but my adled brain would love to completely get it!
Thank you Dave for another great episode. It’s interesting how different parts are nowadays and how it seems every year something changes. Hope all is well and the weather is getting better. Don’t have too much fun bedding in those brake pads you don’t need to be like Toprack lol. Cheers from California!
Evening Dave….absolutely brilliant insight , I understood half of the tech bit, it’s mind blowing how much fine adjusting is available….kudos to you knowing the small details that make the whole picture….👍👌🇮🇲 ❤
Hi there,I was wondering if you can help.My 2008 gixxer 1000 is leaking oil from the bleeder valve on both sides of the caliper after a brake line upgrade and fluid flush.Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
It's common to get a little fluid trapped in the thread, which seeps out after you've finished. But if it keeps leaking, then the nipple isn't sealing on the taper at the bottom. You'd have to remove the bleed nipples and check the sealing face is OK. Don't use ptfe tape to seal it though, it should seal on the taper
love these shows, learning so much and appreciate you doing these

If I gave him the chance, he'd take away my one day of fun/work/careful maintenance 😁

Like my Mrs said last night...way too short....😂😂😂😂live the video. Keep them coming 👍👍👍
Nice video, plenty of bling. I've got a bsb Oz rear wheel myself to fit, three bolt disc. Is yours the same and if so, who supplies your disc? Ta
Ours are 4 bolt. Brembo had to make the disc bells specifically for us
Do you get to test ride the super duper bike? 😮 And did you pick up the Motec seal?
I'm hoping to ride the full superbike one day. But I think Matt and Franco might have other ideas on that 😂
Love it question are you running the 2024 blade
No, ours is a 23 bike
What about the VTR1000-SP1??
Waiting for some good weather. It's taking its time coming 😕
Hey Dave did y’all go with a Suter swingarm,Kalex, or another brand?
Suter... It came with the bike so we're going to run it as changing is very expensive 😳
@@obsession_engineering I looked at their cheapest one and it was 10 grand.
excellent video, nice to see the explanation of the trick parts. 😁 now I just need to lay down and rest my old racers brain 🤣
Wow!
Dave, do you get paid to wear those hats 😂
They are very nice hats 🤣
Hope Mat can tell you everything you did wrong 😂
Spoof... I need another shower today!

@@obsession_engineering Much appreciated thank you sir.
"Just over 10... kilograms" thought you were gonna say 10 grand 🫠
That'd be pretty accurate too
