They warm the wiring harness up in a low bake oven at Bentley just before fitting.Makes it much easier to fit. Really enjoying this build, access to stuff in my dream world! Carry on with the cheese and jam👌
I used to install Carpet and vinyl flooring, and we would do sort of the same. We would either ask the home owner if it was an occupied job, or the apartments manager to have the heat blasting so that when we came in early in the morning and dropped the new material it could acclimate and loosen up. It made the vinyl much less likely to tear (this work with auto wrap too as weve seen) and the carpet more pliable for a tighter fit and ultimately a better longer lasting installation. If you install carpet in a very cold area, and then the new owners come in and cranks the heat, its gets loose. This results in lumps/waves in the carpet sometimes, or even it releasing form the tack strip along the walls.
Say hi to Boastie for me! Havnt seen him since he was doing an MSV day at Cadwell and before that Ron Haslam School Looks like a top job on the Fireblade.
This build is brilliant and the wiring loom is just amazing love all those little HRC bags like one of the earlier comments said about the instruction manual I'd be framing them you can't beat a bit of factory bling 😉
Nice work Wavey, you and Boastie are doing a cracking job...looks like you're on schedule for testing. Catch up early next week at your workshop if you're around, I'll bring suitable cake👍
What an awesome experience Dave! A maze looking like you’re getting through it💪💪 This is going to be incredible to witness racing around the track👌 Well done to everyone at OE🙌
Nice watching this come along. Dave, is that GSX in the background spoken for? I had the 400 as a cheap runaround in the 90's. Would like another for nostalgia sakes 😄
£95 Dave because they know a tragic like me would frame it! Factory spec baby 😅🤓 All the best from Australia *edit* Fascinating they're still using RS232 connectors. Hope you can show us the damper sensors when you've got them installed.
I love to see my bit of sponsorship money some good and seeing a comedy show going on with you and pete I just hope Franco was not watching he will be pulling his hair out you certainly not marvel super heroes you and Pete but good to watch both good luck Franco
Both are excellent quality. I've used both over the years and I'd say they're equal, but the arrow tends to be better priced and the silencers are more durable
I do rather agree it's not really superstock anymore. Data logging and expensive electronics cross the line for me. But obviously we have to build the best bike possible for Franco
Titanium headers, and the arrow link pipe is stainless steel so it’ll make a nice brownish copper color, still looks nice but we all do love the blue from Titanium 🥲

Cheers for the plug for my handy brackets Dave 😂👍
They are very handy!!
I assume you chanted the 'electric magic gods' chant whilst fitting the loom.
Pure coincidence that the chant sounds exactly like curse words.... 😁
So interesting and amusing watching the build and the decisions being made. Will be great to see the testing and Franco’s input.

This is such a gem of a channel. Off to do the valve clearances on my RSV1000 that I have been putting off. Cannot wait to see this bike in testing.

Really enjoying these videos, great to see it all coming together. Forgot to film the cake though 😁
Great to watch Franco's bike coming together. Can't wait for testing & the start of the season.
You guys seem to be having loads of fun😀👍 Great content, looking forward to the next episode in this series👍

Great video. Love this content.
Sam’s Palmer’s brackets are superb. If you contact him he will make bespoke brackets also 👍
I love this stuff

That's Pete in the office's 'project'
Though if it doesn't move soon I'd happily sell it 🤣

It would fit a frame surprisingly well 🤔

Big thanks for joining us for the journey 😁
@Obsession Engineering it's a pleasure dave
Which is better arrow or akrapovic
Both are excellent quality. I've used both over the years and I'd say they're equal, but the arrow tends to be better priced and the silencers are more durable
So... how was the cake and cheese?!
Not bad at all. Lots of flavours, all at the same time
Superstock? In my day you just to one out of the crate and changed the tyres. Bloody ridiculous.
I do rather agree it's not really superstock anymore.

Gas turbines?
My old job, servicing and installation of industrial gas turbines
Cool, gotta pay them bills.
@@obsession_engineering Your old job? TB5000's in shit holes need you Dave
Where's the cake and cheese
