We have an Alphard camper and absolutely love it; you can do an LPG conversion on them too to cut fuel costs, ours is hybrid electric/petrol so we get really good MPG for the size. our stove is induction (12v that slides out to cook outside and 240V inside for when hooked up). I much prefer its comfort to VW!

We're thinking of getting one , the pioneer 2 but I'm concerned about the size when the bed is out it doesn't look like there is much space between the bed and front seats, how do you find it ?

Great van, great kit, the seats (leather?) look comfy, but I look forward to the day when a vehicle reviewer, just one, spares a thought for disabled people and shows us how far back/up/down the drivers seat goes, so that I can determine if/how I can get in/out. Thanks lads. Keep up the good work.

Love my Alphard ❤ They are so comfortable and a dream to drive. Mine is a rear kitchen conversion with a fixed single bed/bench seat which gives me loads of storage underneath and plenty of free floor space for my doggo and to have the loo at hand at night. They are becoming very popular as one of the affordable small van options and I see loads of them around now. Kev is right, this is Polar White lol. I have the Pearl White glittery paint. Loved this review!
I have an Alphard, same conversion, 55 plate. Love it! Every day driver, weekends and holidays away, solar panel, heater works off petrol in tank. Beautiful to drive. I would like to complain about the Lazy Susan references 😡
Is yours a Wellhouse conversion? I wondered how heating worked, as most are diesel heaters and obviously these are petrol engines. How do you find the fuel economy?

Excellent video. I've got an Alphard myself (tour videos on my channel), but it's a rear conversion. So slightly different than this but it allows you to retain three middle seats with seat belts, so you can take an extra passenger. I would've loved one like you have shown, but three kids limit my choices. To end on a positive, I just want to reiterate that this was a really enjoyable watch.

Really like the reviews on the channel .i remember you doing a review on a old hymer trade in if I remember right, any chance you could do a video on what to look out for on older motorhomes inside, outside, and underneath, engine ect. Would be very much appreciated 👍( with your vast experience and knowledge . Kev being older should help 😂)

I had one made it was ace and drove like a dream, also 2004 and sold it for what I paid for it.

Toyota's are very reliable but I believe this model is an import, it does not matter as the price is very reasonable and you get a lot for your money, I am a big fan of Toyota having had Toyota cars over the last thirty years I would love one.

Definately is an import but has a lot of parts in common with UK market Toyota/Lexus vehicles.

Jesus boys after all that I'm knackered. Still no good to me just got back from Glossop caravans and seen a couple I hope my pension will buy at the end of the year. If you have never been to Glossop you need to that place is amazing.
We've been past to collect vans a few times. It's a big setup they have there!
