When it said "Sacrifical Chamber" I thought its gonna be you sitting on a chair and wait for someone to plunge a knife in you. I never expected to be 8 machine turrets and 4 war robots blasting at you. "Sacrifical Chamber". 😐
I thought its going to be some demonic or occult shit like youre gonna get dipped into a pool of boiling blood or get your soul sucked.. The setup was perfect, the blinding light and the creepy tranquility the video provides until the walls open and its a robot firing squad lol
Leave it to Obsidian to write a grim yet beautifully-crafted novel-tier story for a goddamn sidequest a ton of people missed lmao. The amount of talent on that studio is just absurd
I can see this as a tv series, with the final scene being the last holotape from the terminal playing over slow panning shots of the empty vault, the people who killed themselves, then fading to black with "Your safety is our number one priority" echoing throughout the vault.
This is one of my favorite vault secrets because of how satisfying it was. You don't just enter a vault but you end up discovering it's secret, plus having that intense gunfight ending was just icing to the cake. It made me look forward to vault exploring the Mojave.
at first i thought this was an alternate game ending because of the music and i was like oh hell no i gotta gtfo. but then i was like oh screw it and thats when i realized i fucked up and had to avoid getting destroyed by a overlord robot
I remember back before the first update if you just kept pressing on the automated response option on the computer you could gain xp infinitely until you were at the highest level.
"And some of us are meant to forfeit our lives for the good of the people. Sure, it may not be as fun as driving a race car, but it's every bit as important." LOL.
when I played through this part my character had a broken leg and I was walking through that hallway limping along and then that music played and I figured I was about to die and I did
The difficulty spike was hard at level 9. Killing rats and mantises with my cowboy repeater to turrets and killer robots 5 minutes later was quite hard. Fortunately you can place frag mines through the walls and I had a plasma rifle on me.
ricardo martinez you know it’s suddenly occurred to me that what if the Robo brains are made from the brains of previously killed victims from the sacrificial chamber, after all those human brains had to come from somewhere. That theory makes the story even more fucked up than it already is, don’t you think? The nauseating idea that they re-purposed the brains from the people they killed in order to kill more people in a vicious cycle. And quite possible that that’s what actually happened, hence making the sacrificial chamber even more disturbing than it already is.
Even at max rank, I freaked out when I opened the sacrificial chamber. Once the game auto-saved at the entrance, I knew something was wrong. It also didn’t help that I heard the ending slide music and the intercom insisting me to come towards the light. I thought I would be impaled or blown up instantly just by setting foot inside the room. When that wasn’t the case, I contemplated on sitting down before deciding to leave without turning back. Save file or not, I value self-preservation 😅
www.extremetech.com/gaming/171158-can-you-build-a-gaming-pc-better-than-the-ps4-for-400 tack on that with steam and you never have to pay more than $35 a game, often a lot less.
Bruh, after many years of playing this game (cause I'm a scaredy cat), I fully explored Vault 11 for the first time yesterday...goddamn this was creepy
This is called the Milgram experiment. It was created to understand why the Nazis in WW2 were so willing to follow orders, even if they knew they were wrong. In the real experiment, two people (one an actor) are put in a room with a divider in between the two so they could inly speak to each other. One person was told to ask the other person (the actor) a series of questions. Every time they got it wrong (or didn’t answer), they’d deliver an increasingly more intense shock by pressing a button. Every time, the actor would react audibly to the pain. They’d begin to scream in agony from the shock, beg them to stop, and eventually they just go silent all together. Any time the person asked to stop, they were simply told “The experiment requires you continue” The vast majority of people went through every single one (even several times when the person went quiet)
I just did this, faaacking disturbing. But after the robots got cleared out the game left me with a nice freeze game sound effect but the game still played on.
@FuKnsHytUp No you don't need the Wild Wasteland perk, I'm not using it. This is just a fairly hidden segment that I came by chance whilst exploring. And yeah I also noticed that companion dismissal thingy over at the gun runners, what's up with that?
Did Old World Blues first and got that wonderful stealth suit , she knows whats up as soon as i stepped in the room she was like "Uh-oh!" and i was like sneak to the chair , and then the slideshow was like "met the love of your life ? , what a looker" and she was like "Will you love me if I help you hide?" , hopeless romantic she is , and then just as it ends went sneaking to the mainframe and she was like "Shhh... we're very stealthy." i loved that stealth suit mk ii
This was My first time playing this game and not knowing any of fallout lore I went to this vault because of BOS quest and when chamber was opened I’ve seen the light and the door open with big screen but something doesn’t feel right because I did save file and then I was killed by robot at level 21 without needing armour.
I knew the walls looked weird and i just went with the flow and as soon as i heard the doors noise i knew what was happening Got up and got my gun ready and ducked and the robots didn't even detect me Took a deep breath and charged like a motherfucker
Wait, how can the computer kills the people? And aren't they suppose to PROTECT THEM?! Sorry, I never played Fallout games like ever but I heard some people that's the game is very depressing and interesting. So I just poking around on the Internet.
Officially, they were designed for the sole purpose of sheltering up to one thousand individuals in the event of a nuclear holocaust; however, in reality, they were part of a series of secret experiments orchestrated by the United States government.~Fallout wiki :)
I'm at lvl 13, happened upon V11 cause of Brotherhood of Steel, stil had my ass handed to me by these robots. Am i there too early or just massively unprepared ?
Sorry, but couldn't be sacrificed as I wasn't elected, and I scrapped all of the deathbots and turrets. Though Grandma Lily took a whacking, I'll be disciplining her for this disgraceful performance later.
i know its been 9 years, but, you can get to know it if you activate the access to sacrifical chamber in vault 11. To activate it, open the computer in overseer's office
actually, four survivers died and because they dont care and uhh....UHHH....Oh yea..the only survivor escaped and barricaded the vault door...p.s. its a man
"Your safety is our number one priority."
Yeaahh...right.
+BioWar6556 then comes in the protectrons
Safteys our number one priority... At the cost of your sanity! Thank you for choosing vault-tec!
Yeap lmao
''Can you see them?...... Good.'' *shit hits the fan*
“Can you see them?”
“Good.”
Best scare in the entire game
This scared the shit out of me the first time.
Youssef A. Me too I knew something was totally wrong with this then the robots came it took me by surprise
I jumped lmfao. I didn't expect that
@Andrea De Luca I got chills when he said “close your eyes” and even more so when he mentioned “the afterlife”
I wish I could think about that time I kissed my steady girl under the bleachers at the big game.
Heh
Yeah, I was like: ”None of those things happened, though”
0:33 IT'S JUST A SOCIAL EXPERIMENT BRO
When it said "Sacrifical Chamber" I thought its gonna be you sitting on a chair and wait for someone to plunge a knife in you.
I never expected to be 8 machine turrets and 4 war robots blasting at you.
"Sacrifical Chamber". 😐
I was more like "oh yeah, sit on that chair, and then there is a hidden gun in this beamer to execute you while watching a lame Advertise in 240p".
I think they took the sacrificial part a little bit to far.
I thought its going to be some demonic or occult shit like youre gonna get dipped into a pool of boiling blood or get your soul sucked.. The setup was perfect, the blinding light and the creepy tranquility the video provides until the walls open and its a robot firing squad lol

Although I am writing this late, many people who worked on Fallout New Vegas have left Obsidian
that’s why i’m playing this now instead of new lame crap.
"Can you see them? good..." *Doors open with robots, I pull out a fat man* "How about fucking no?" XD
Flawless Victory
"The vault is empty, there's just rats and insects, nobody can come and kill me if I sit here"
[Movie ends]
"Oh shi-"
that is so fucked up on so many levels. Imagine what the remaining 5 original inhabitants were thinking when they heard that
+ECW Platinum 4 of them commited suicide when they heard it.
+ECW Platinum its gonna give them mixed emotion, maybe worse than being raped, they'd probably commit suicide xD
+ECW Platinum or go depressed and full psycho, snap out of their senses
ECW Platinum 4 commuted suicide
Omg I would die
This is my favorite Vault in all of Fallout it's so horrifying, and the Lore you find through it, is so good
I can see this as a tv series, with the final scene being the last holotape from the terminal playing over slow panning shots of the empty vault, the people who killed themselves, then fading to black with "Your safety is our number one priority" echoing throughout the vault.
Well, this might actually become true now with the Fallout TV show xD
BITCH YOU WAS RIGHT
"-Good" *Lights go out* "Uhhhhhh, whats going on!"
Y do i hear boss music
This Vault is so brutal, goddamn
Someone should make a movie based on this one vault.
fallout nv is brutal and shows its actual wasteland not some child playground like fallout 76
@@Rogue.Rainbow ever watched Soylent Green?
@@Rogue.RainbowThere are movies about the Milgram experiment, which this vault is based on.

New Vegas did vaults the right way, like fallout 4 couldn’t.
When I came to this death chamber for the first time; the end credits music was playing and it made me so emotional
samee

Same here.
same here
BigDaddyJustinn As soon as I heard the slider music I saved the game kek
This is so messed up...
they need to make a fckn movie about this!!! hahaha
yes and call the movie overseer's revengeful sacrifice lol
You would need a damn television show to tell all of the stories told in Fallout... and even that might not be enough.
It's based on a novel called "The Lottery", where a village annually kills one resident by lottery.
Doesn't the legion already use lottery tickets to kill ppl in nipton.
@@azazel166 "What lottery? THE lottery. Are you stupid?"

I find it really eerie that the sacrificial chamber opens the same way the escape tunnel in Vault 101 did
i love how the main theme plays as you walk down the corridor, like this could be the end of the couriors journey
Hard difficulty, Hardcore Mode and Realistic Weapon Damage mod... I have such fond memories of this vault.
For a better experience I closed my eyes when he told me to and daamn it was awesome!😂 "Good... now EMBRACE IT!"

This is one of the most well written pieces of fiction
The embodiment of the Milgram experiment
I remember this vault ... those robots nearly killed me. I think I got down to around 5 to 10% health before I found cover.
When I saw the robobrains coming out I pulled my bozar and modded hunting rifle and went to town

"commitment to human life" Wouldn't sending sacrifices in be a larger commitment to human life?

Bruh, after many years of playing this game (cause I'm a scaredy cat), I fully explored Vault 11 for the first time yesterday...goddamn this was creepy
I would watch an entire series based around the inhabitants of vault 11.
Basically, vault dweller wins if they decide NOT to sacrifice anyone.
no when you enter the vault there are four bodies, they shot themselves and the 5th left, but I thought Ulysses didn't grow up in a vault
0:56 what a great place for ending theme

it's such a dark humor that it's funny :P
your safety is out number #1 priority yeah rigth they were going to kill then all!
Have you seen vault 68-69? Messed up
This was a very surreal moment for me in fallout nv
