Quokkas are not exclusive to Rottnest Island, as stated in the video, although that's where the largest population of roughly 10,000 live. There are about 4,000 in small groups on Australia's mainland between Perth and Albany on the southwest coast. Bald Island, off the coast of Albany, has between 600-1,000. Loss of habitat on the mainland combined with predators like birds of prey, foxes, wild dogs and feral cats have contributed to their population decline. Their species is classified as "vulnerable".
That’s true. But be careful with correcting 😅 we know this of course, but it’s the only place where you can see them as a traveler. That’s also what is said in the brochures and in the video. Did you enjoy the video? Cheers from the family 😃👍🏻
Your videos are are well made and crisp. Sufficient description about the places, pleasing photography, and good narration. Keep it up. Love from Colombo, Sri Lanka.
The water at Rottnest is far warmer in summer when the Lewin current is running that comes form the tropics up north. There is many tropical fish at Rottnest and down the coast to Bussleton because the waters are warm. Winter the water isn't that cold, down to around 20 degrees Celcius.😊
I want to visit Tel Aviv one day. A long time ago I visited Jerusalem and the dead sea and all. But I hear good thinks about TA. Worth a trip for a video right?
Thanks for the nice compliment! At the moment we are still continuing the trip in Africa. Australia was such s highlight, that we’ll go back there in 2024! A new video keeps coming every week 🥳👍🏻

Quokkas are also found in the south of Western Australia.
That’s true, very rare. If you want to see them Rottnest Island is the place. It’s 10.000 on Rottnest and only dozens elsewhere 😅
When I was on Rottnest Island 15 years ago bike helmets were mandatory. Does this has changed?
are there beaches that you should not swim/or snorkel in?
are there warning signs nearby for these?
These guys r like dodo birds
Only place in the world where they turned a consentration camp into a hotel very sad 😢
There are actually a lot of hotels worldwide that are former prisons 😅 so it’s pretty common actually.
'Consentration Camp'?
Still a beautiful island, but it is NOT the most beautiful island in Western Australia😂 there’s lots of rlly nice retry ones but just not many ppl go there
But who says it is? It’s so special because of the Quokkas 😍 did you like the video?
I like bananas
Car free 😂😂😂 freaking big city buses passing you all the time forcing people off the bikes. And they are not electric buses...
Car free, as in.. you can’t go there by car? I don’t get it.
