  • Hey, this is Red Dog! I'm a scratch builder and prop/model maker. I like making models from movies, tv shows, video games, real life and fantasy. My main prop building material is EVA foam. But I will use just about any found object if it look good on the prop. Weathering is my favorite part of the process.
I like to make stuff. - made of EVA foam and painted with DecoArt acrylic paint.

The sound affects used reminds of something you'd get from a bad fever dream!

I'm glad you're here to give us these important updates, like The Aluminum Falcon has lots of panels. I can't believe I missed that detail for 45 years.

Well...it does. You try placing and cutting and notching and painting each one by hand. lol

So enjoyed that. Glad I found your channel, an easy sub for me. Wish you hadn't skipped the part about wiring up the LED lights, that's always skipped by modelmakers and it's the one part of what you do that's a mystery to me (not electrically minded at all).

Man thats amazing work. Inwish they would make re release of all the greeble details exactly loke the knes they used on the original would be awsome but very complicated and hard and reason why i jse greebles from electronics and model ships and ww2 model cannons and unconventional models that isnt easily recognizable parts loke they did on the original falcon. And dollar tree foam board is the best stuff to model with build with and even build amazing highly detailed and awsome looking rc planes as well look up flite test

I start building this amazing model in studio scale 1:24 from the original scale, but I never find anywhere how wide is the edge or how thick is in the middle, maybe I dont know where too serch

I know what you mean, sometime faking it is good enough, good luck.

Can ask how wide are the "ribs" from inside the circle? Sorry if I'm asking something to much...

I don't remember exactly the sizes. I do a lot of screen measuring and adjusting as I go. Hope this helps.

Helpful note, the silent build parts have a noisy bass sound playing, probably a fan or something but. I would edit to be fully silent or play music during the mute.
