@@African-Budget-Pellet-Gunner It's good to cater for the budget market, not many people review these products in depth. It's good to give people an idea of what they can expect. Great work as always buddy!
Thanks Tyrone. Enjoyed the review. Takealot have one at the moment for R495. I bought one about two years ago and it was not bad at all. I replaced it with a Hawke 3-9x40 AO fast mount that I could get at a really good price at the time, which turned out to be slightly better.
Hi Alex, glad you enjoyed it, R495 is a great price for this scope. The hawke is definitely better and the Adjustable Objective(parallax adjustment) is a must at higher magnification. I actually also own a hawke which I will review but it is more expensive
"I bought one about two years ago and it was not bad at all." I have a feeling that is the scope I bough from you for my CP2 last year. Also replaced that with a Hawke, and this year that scope travelled up to Centurion to see further use there 🙃
That would be a good choice. I am not sure of the quality of the glass but in general the AO scopes are built a little better than those without. If on a springer though it would have a limited life
Brett those Winchester 3-9×40 AO scopes were 35.00 when I bought mine 2 yrs ago. I bought 4 of them before they rose to 45.00 I just dont use them on a break barrel...👍
Wow. I have almost the same scope but on the end of tube I have parallax adjustment. It looks like it was produced in the same Chinese factory. It is written Ortex Germany but was sold even with different name that I don’t remember, price was around 45 USD, 200PLN. I would say decent product. I even didn’t try that illuminator. I made a shooting with family for a distance of around 25 meters , a lot of fun. Spot on group on Artemis CP2 5,5
If it has the AO that is a bonus, those tend to be a little more robust. For 25m these are perfect, the illuminated reticles doesn't work too great, a bit of a sales gimmick
cheap scopes are not all bad ,mount one at sturdy vice and check the tracking and if it has parallax adjustment , if the croshair stays on poi . (if its wobbling over the target ,get rid of it ) 7 out of 10 are good enough . to use it on a airgun (my experience)
Nice review Tyrone, I enjoyed the video.
Thanks Jay, trying something a bit new and different

I was experimenting, glad you enjoyed it. Which 1 is more handsome
Of course both are handsome ! 😂😂😂

@KolaDiver wow, this scope has made its rounds, lol. It will still see plenty more use here in Centurion
Very helpful - bought one now.
They are Fantastic for the price
"Winchester" 4X, no illuminated reticle, but Adjustable Objective, $45 from Pyramyd Air.

Sounds like a good buy, but break barrels are rough on scopes

That is very similar to the Bestsight 3-9×40 that i have on my Notos and its very good $30.00 rifle scope. Nice job as always Ty!😊 have a great day!!
Thanks Jerry, yes, it goes by a few names and most of the time you will see the shape is the same and the box is usually that black box
😂😂😂😂 Great video
Thanks so much Lou, glad you enjoyed it
Oh my God you again ??? Lol
You got me EX 🍕 boy !
That looks familiar 😉
It is being put to good use😉
What kind of bird is this 😁
_I believe ive seen this scope under the Pinty name._
Hi Lowkey, it is a Hadida, quite common here especially here in the city. Very loud birds
@@African-Budget-Pellet-Gunner why does it sound like a stuffy nose crow 🤣
_First video that popped ; Loudest bird in Africa._

Sounds like a good way of looking at it
