Hi Tyrone brother! I didn't see the bottle top challenge dude! I'll take you up on that with the ol' pro sport no worries! *EDIT - budget springers only - ok - Remington Express then 👍 I agree with many points you raise and I have something to add: The point on springers destroying cheap scopes - I've found that relatively cheap Hawke Quick Mount scopes are reliable and long lived with 12fpe springers. Hi Tyrone. I respect your opinion. But I don't agree. A springer will always be a better school for any beginner. And preferably start by shooting with the sights open. It is possible to buy medium energy springers and use cheap scopes without any problems. For example a simple Comet mod 220 for only 120 euros. And a bsa scoupe for only 50 euros. Guaranteed to make more energy and better, constant performance than a co2 CP-1. And it will need much less maintenance, and you won't have to keep changing capsules. Standard pistol is around 5.5fpe, in rifle mode around 8fpe stock standard. With some mods in rifle mode you can go up to about 10fpe for 177 and about 11fpe for .22
I think the Diana Chaser/Artemis CP2 is a GREAT starter rifle for younger individuals or adults alike. Especially younger individuals because they have a hard time with cocking the break barrels and also getting a hold of the rifle in general. The Chaser/CP2 is excellent for learning to shoot. Very backyard friendly and most supplies can be found locally off the shelf. That being said, they can build confidence in shooting right away with the fact that they will hit their targets easier than handling a Springer. They may get discouraged if they aren't having fun and instead getting frustrated that they can't hit their mark. They may be more willing to challenge themselves if they master the CO2 rifle. I don't know, maybe I'm making no sense and just sound crazy 😵💫😆 Great video Tyrone🍻
