GG. Regarding the ending, I think Leave is canonically the "good" ending. I believe you were very close to getting the Maria ending, but the requirements are very strict and hidden. You had to: Not investigate any personal items Keep her safe in general Choose the Woman coin for the final solution to the cabinet puzzle in the apartments (you chose snake) Open the door for Maria at Jacks Inn and comment on her outfit Examine all posters and approach the center pole at the strip club Check on her several times in the hospital and after each labyrinth section Use the Ripe Apple to get the Snow White Figurine Leave through the Scarlet Egg door after the twin pyramid head fight Finally, do not fully listen to the conversation in the hallway (you did) Some of these have more weight than others in terms of getting the ending. The coin for example is rather light- I picked snake too but was able to get the Maria ending- while the egg door and hallway conversation are heavy, and all but damn you out of the ending.
Huh interesting, I knew there were multiple endings but considering there are 8 different ones and the amount of prerequisites required just for that one, I cant imagine what you would have to do for all the other ones. Which in turn makes this game even better for the replay value. Lets go good ending tho
