- Today we venture way out to the middle of nowhere to play a hidden Gem of a disc golf course! I have heard stories of extreme elevation change as well as very unique tee shots! Let's see if it lives up to all of the HYPE!

Hunter I have to say one of your best videos!! The hole 9 nine break almost made me shoot my beer out my nose. Hilarious!! What a fun and challenging course.
@JeffAnderson1964 thank you so much! I put a lot of planning into the hole 9's! I love when they get recognized!
It was so funny. I didn't know if at first he was serious then the pink trash can showed up and I lost it.
@ryanmartin07rm got to keep you guys guessing, haha!
Keep up the great course reviews and over all great videos..
Thanks I appreciate that a lot!
When I was your age, we played both 9s in 6 feet of snow, and it was uphill both ways.
That's hardcore!
This course looked fantastic..we just may go play at this one...keep it up hunter
Glad you enjoyed it!
I’m playing in the amateur state’s tournament in a few weeks and I haven’t played the luddington courses or whiskey hills. THANK YOU! At least I get to see them first.
@HyzerflipDAD part of the reason a made the channel! Glad to help!
I live about 10 minutes from there and I hardly ever play it because the rough is way too rough and you will be sore the next day. I will say that the campground is a hive for ORV people, so it probably is not as peaceful on weekends. That is relative though. It is amazing this guy was able to find fairway as much as he did, I am always finding kicks straight into pitch out land halfway down the fairway. I think this will be on my list to play very soon.
I've heard I went at a lucky time as far as the rough goes. I think they were preparing for AM states!
Whiskey Hills looks like the dream 🙌🏻 I like the terrain of the upper Midwest in contrast to the southeast (where I reside). Really hope to get up there someday.
It is definitely your ideal course then! Nice hike!
You should do a video on Branstrom in Fremont. My hometown course, one of the most underrated in west michigan.
I did! Go check it out!
New video from TP, love to see it. First off, Whiskey Hills is no on my must play Michigan disc golf list. Second, best hole 9 break yet. Great video 10/10.
Really glad you enjoyed the Hole 9! Lot of time I to that one haha
Going to have to get better to take on that one, beautiful country though
Yea, a few bad throws, and it will turn into a rough day
Such a beautiful course! Looks so peaceful
It sure was !
Have you ever played a ski hill course? In Wisconsin it’s popular to repurpose ski hills as DGCs in the summer. Definitely don’t skip leg day. They’re brutal. It’s a rare opportunity to donk a wraith off a snow machine, though.
I have played one in Utah! Giant course you play down a mountain! Solitude it's called
really fun course, haven't played it in years. I did throw a ridiculous hyzer down the hill on 18! so fun
Either your a lefty or a mad man haha
the latter. really grainy cell phone video out there somewhere. the whole crew loses it. it did par, and I did take the round down.
Multiple holes here make it to my Dream 24, with the final hole being my favorite finishing hole in disc golf. I bet you were worn out after this one lol, it’s ridiculous to put hole 12 halfway through, like the continental divide
Oh yea, that was a long day, especially trying to film, a lot of extra up and down the place, the camera!
Well thought out, and executed. You need to come north, Traverse City area. Alittle over an hour north for you. Love to see you play/review Hickory Hills, Myles Kimberly, Bears Den. Green Lake Disc Golf Park!
**ahem**
Log Lake...
**cough cough**
I definitely plan to make a trip north in the future!
Hickory is badass. Hole 20 is epic.
Have played at broadway meyer disc golf park in three rivers
No but it's my most requested course !
150 foot full power shot oxymoron and hilarious! Lol
That's a good day for me
I yelled out "do itt !?!?" on this putt . Haha . 14:29
I was saying the same thing in my head!
Brought your discin' love over to Wisconsin from Michigan, now we have a TP fan club here in Madison! My one qualm with your vids though is that you MUST do the whole course breakdown, even if its 24 holes (A Michigan tradition). There's been a few of your vids where you've left off some of the best holes on courses due to this. This course has a great first couple holes, especially the rock hole first shot, iconic. I honestly think you do the courses injustice by skipping over holes...just my take. Other than that, keep on keeping on!
@OldManTomJulio man I would love to but 18 holes takes about 4 hours to film. Pushing longer, I run into a lot of battery issues for my electronics! I could try though! Extra six holes is like 6 hours extra all the way around including editing! I'm in Wisconsin right now!
I'm doing my best! Thanks for spreading the love!
Please play Branstrom! It’s a slept on course in my opinion.
@@jerrythebag I did! Look it up on the channel!
The song “Up and Down” by the Vengaboys is appropriate
Agreed
Mt mcsauba up by petosky. Is very elevated
I plan to head north at some point !
Gorgeous course! Sorry about the mosquitoes, poison ivy and bears. I think the rock sculptures may be Inukshuks. They mean safe passage.
Can't be in the woods without bugs!
This place is sick! I didn't get a chance to try it last year when I was in the area. I'll have to check it out next year.
It's definitely worth a trip! Cooler weather may be a great idea!
That course goes uphill the entire time. I use the same putter for how many years? I liked all the rock sculptures
It was uphill every hole, haha. idk how, but it happened
Some of this course is awesome, some holes….not so much. It was way too overgrown when we played it, and literally had to leave because multiple holes were unplayable. Beautiful, but definitely not for me
This course is DEFINITELY not a solo round if you like keeping all your discs. Spotter a MUST.
Yea I agree to both of those! I got lucky during my round, not too bad!
Did you leave Craig at the Hart Hydro course to deal with his tick problem on his own?
Craig has been wondering the mountainside, makes a small appearance next week!
I need to greyhound to Michigan homie
I left Georgia..
I'm headed back to Chicago.
Well that was fast, I thought you were staying down there!
@@tossingplastic long story the neighbor was staying with .
She kinda lost her job and the guy wanted me to buy them alcohol.
I was like I'll drive to get you some but I wont buy you poison cause of a lost job lol.
Then dude was like that's a 20$ steak .
I'm like yeah that chainsaw did the yard work and didn't ask for a single dollar.
I was just doing my own thing was about to bank a job and buy a studio out there.
Forklift operator
@@tossingplastic lol 🤣 I'll be back
How were the ticks when you went there? Last time i went in march and i pulled 8 ticks off my legs!!
@@aydenworkman2181 surprisingly none that round!
@tossingplastic so glad to hear that! I wonder if tick season has slowed... haven't been getting many lately. Thx Hunter.
