sir im working as locksmith in India...sir can you tell me what's the way to get key code through vin number ...it will help me all key lost situations
Not much fun having to re-key your own car, but on the up side, at least it wont cost you much. Better then having your van cleaned out. It has happened to me and a few others too. don't risk it, do a re-key. You don't know who has access to the key codes. The other day.. I needed a key code and I could not find it with my system, I asked a friend and he got the code from someone on the other side of the world, and it was 100% right !!
I was just thinking ...if you subscribed to one of those decoding services, and all the vehicles that you looked up got stolen, I mean if I was in the stolen vehicle squad ....
yes if its an on-line code service, no if its a program you can use offline, but the stolen vehicle squad would need to check with all the possible code services across the world, so it's an unlikely
Wow, bit scary isn't it? Problem is that you can no longer get keys for your van from a dealer or locksmith from the VIN. Maybe record the new key code in the owners manual, but that presents a security problem too. Dilemma.
im glad you did NOT show your new blade in this video it would have defeated the purpose of re-keying this is an A1 video mate
same in New Zealand its called car Jam

Many can still be accesses, if you know where too look. I find a re-key is a good solution
