- In this episode of Build Biology, I dive into the details of my custom built 3 piece BBS RS2 wheels, and the fitment on my 2012 VW GTI. I share the overall stance I was looking for, the spec of the original RS2 703 faces, the conversion from 17" to 18", tire choice, and alignment set up.

Looks super clean!! I’m running a 17x9 +35 with a 235/45/17 and on B16 Coilovers and she sits mean and handles great. Love our VW’s
Love this build
Thanks homie!
Awesome build bro! I'm planning to run 18x8.5 +35 rims. Should I be getting a 235/40 or can I go wider for a 245/40 tyre? I'm on BCBR coilovers. Will there be a need for any bodywork to be done? Current camber front @ - 2.5.
I used to run 18x8.5 ET35 with a Michelin 215/40R18 and I needed my front fenders rolled and pulled with about -1.7* camber. Michelins run a little wider than other tires, I would say anything wider than a 225 is going to rub. And, if you’re going wider than that, look at 35 profile tires as a 40 profile in a 235 or 245 will start to get too tall.
@@wobjobs I'm currently on 235/40/18 Bridgestone Re71rs. Occasionally Ive been to the track with the car as well. So I was wondering if it's wise for me to go with the et35 and 225/40 instead? Taking into account that I've had the fenders rolled and pulled. Will that be good in your opinion?
@@dashfahmy7813 depends how low you are but I would run 225s
Hey what is the size of the bolts please. The 16 bolts

Hey, whats the size of front wheels and rear wheels? 8" or 8,5" inches?
I've got a GOLF 6 with 8,5" and wheels are out with offset 42
18x9.5 ET34 square
With 215/40R18 tires? Also, what suspension kit brand are you using?
I appreciate your answer, I really love how it looks like.
@@GH05TM44N yes to the tires. It’s on Air Lift Performance
