In her recent interview with Oprah Val says Nick was diagnosed in March 2011 and finished Chemo in June...Died in August. So sad what a beautiful couple with so much love!!! RIP Nick Ashford
This was just last may. How long did he have throat cancer. Whats so sad is that we dont hear about his passing until his gone. I wish I could have sent my prayers and my flowers while he was still alive. RIP Nick.

He just died :( He literally went from rags to millions. He was homeless when he met Valerie who was serving food in a soup kitchen.
