If I use oil, I’ll just grab a toothbrush and some oil eater cleaner. Degreaser seems to work great.

Your comment bar keepers will etch your sink , immediately sent up a red flag in my mind.
The sink contains a high percentage of nickel and the diamond stone is nickel plated.
It may damage you stone as well.
I would stick to the eraser
