1:37 - "next station: Liverpool Street... change for: central, Circle, hammersmith and City, metropolitan, northern, london overground lines, national rail services, and for elizabeth line services towards Shenfield via Stratford!" ?!
I think that they should have used Julie Berry as the announcer and used things such as: Welcome aboard this service to (destination) The next station is (station name) This is (station name)
Very good question! They were updated a couple of weeks prior to the opening of the Elizabeth line. One day I got on to a purple train, as part of my normal commute into Paddington, and all of a sudden I heard "This is the train to, Paddington" instead of "This is a TfL Rail service to Paddington". At the same time, they had updated the tube status to show "Elizabeth line" instead of "TfL Rail", as well as adding the carriage number as you mention.
Nice video
Amazing video BusesInLondon!
It will go all the way from Shenfield to Reading soon. Bond Street will open soon.

I’m confused at the announcement for Liverpool Street as the northern line doesn’t serve it?
I think that they should have used Julie Berry as the announcer and used things such as:
Welcome aboard this service to (destination)
The next station is (station name)
This is (station name)
Anyone know why via Canary Wharf is called out specifically? It isn’t necessary?

So passengers dont get mixed up
e.g they think that canary wharf is on the shenfield branch line or smth
