The difference is the chaos we have in level crossings, congestion in tracks - too many trains esp. MEMU,DEMU type in main lines stopping at all stations and non fencing of lines. If signalling improves, congestion managed well along with other areas, we can have trains covering 100 kms. p.h. with same tracks, locos and rakes. That’s enough for India.

Mani Sir....I have got no words to explain how much happy I am today after seeing this, I remember in those days colour of the coaches used to be brown for all trains except Rajdhani and Shatabdi, heard that coalfield express used to have pantry car, now seen it through your video, I used to travel daily in Coalfield exp. from kulti to durgapur between 2013 and 2017, and can say that infrastructure of each and every station from panagarh to asansol have changed very much, espeacially Asansol has gone through a vast change in these nineteen years, Bokaro Shatabdi now runs till Ranchi. I was about be in class 1 on that time. Great to see the platform of Durgapur how it was actually. Miss the First class and the pantry car of coalfield now very badly. Now coalfield shares the rake with agniveena and with shantiniketan express too.. but the memory was awesome.. loved it

It must have been winter I suppose sir, I haven't traveled long distance trains for more than a year, missing going for outing on a train, hope will get to go somewhere in near future. What could be more authentic a feeling than missing travelling on a train desperately and watching a classically awesome classical rail video which also helps missing old childhood days?
Rourkela Shatabdi was superb with stoppage at Kharagpur and Tatanagar. It was better than my favourite 12019 because they served dinner and Kathleen use to be the caterer. Wonder why it did not get good patronage!!

Yes, I have recorded all these videos. I am not a loco pilot, just a regular railfan. Back then, my uncle used to GM of ER. Hence, I got an opportunity to travel in the loco.

The Rajdhanis were running really late due to fog, hence, we did not meet them.
