I had a coworker, who shortly after I met her was speaking to me in her language. She is from Ghana, when she realized I didn’t understand, she said you look like you are from Ghana. She told me, you must visit Ghana, you will see people that looks like you, she said your twin is there. It is on my bucket list visit if the Lord permits.
That is true. Actually, Macus Garvey's mother told him that his ancestors are the people of the Golden Stool which are the Asante people of Ghana. Captain Kwadjo and Nanny in Jamaican history are evidence of Ghanaian names. I guess perhaps Rita Marley might have known that and that is why she moved to Ghana.
The bloodline is so strong from Ghana that we cannot deny that our sprinters get that gift from Ghana. Boy!canll Jamaicans sprint! Even the way how we talk agressive but it comes with ❤
😮😮😮 what a beautiful and accomplished woman she is. How's the jamaican-american I am well impressed with her what a great video. At first I thought it was a Jamaican person trying so hard to sound American but she grew up in America so that is different. Nowadays Jamaicans don't want to keep their culture they're trying so hard to lose it and to take up other people's culture. This woman is genuine.
Islandview4385. 3 "I though it was a Jamaican trying so hard to sound American" What you said just shows that you are ignorant. Do some travelling/ or try living in a foreign country and you will realise that if you don't try to speak like the locals or pick up the accent people will laugh at you and be like pardon, what did u say, say that again, I didn't get it or simply I don't understand. Let's say you living in Argentina for 3yrs and haven't picked up the language or some of the accent then your head is tough. Here in London if you're a Jamaican living in the country for 4yrs and can't speak British or near enough then no one gonna understand you unless that person has Jamaican friends, family, or work with Jamaicans. A lot of American, British, Canadian and European cannot understand Jamaican English let alone patois. Don't criticise no one who try to code switch thingi. You will belittle yourself if you don't try. When you chatting to Jamaican or Caribbean ppl u can use ur Jamaican accent but when ur speaking especially to Caucasian ppl they can't understand nothing.
This is one of the best interviews I’ve heard on your channel. I wished she had more time to talk about the other countries, I hope she comes back soon.👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Wow, I have only been to 33 countries (2 only in the airport) BUT I have been to Malta twice! Most unusual ones were Moldova, Andorra, Malta and Uruguay. I would really love to get to visit Russia, Japan, Korea, Brazil and Panama.
Malta is an interesting place to visit, they speak English the food is good there is an Italian influence the people are friendly. It's quite mountainous. Gozo's blue lagoon is well worth a visit, too. The artecture is interesting outside it looks quite different from the inside. There are many religious festivals and parades depending on what time you travel. I highly recommend a visit

Are you related to me?. You are speaking my language and my passion. . I love Ghana. Going back again. Thanks for sharing. I love the content.. VacationsIam
She sounds like my brother in law that was in United States military for twenty years and worked at Navy Finance in Cleveland! He wear Jamaica clothes to work and he has been a Supervisor for years, while many places prefer business attire!
I’m Happy you’re guest had a great time in Dubai and love it there, but I must disagree with her comment about the Arabs loving Blacks for their skin colour and none of them will admit that they have dark skin.

For those who are not aware, Dubai is not a country, it is a city in The United Arab Emirates. Furthermore, Souk is pronounced:
/suːk/

Interesting!
The funny thing is that most people abroad think that Jamaica has from 10 to 30m people.
Even caribbean folks think so. Not all but some.
