@@BlazerK1914 condition 0 deleted scenes is a set of campaign missions but they are like standalone missions like one place you are a seal, another mission has you playing as swat for the Tokyo police.

At first, I thought out loud that this was a movie adaptation of the game Counter-Strike... then I realized it’s actually a high-quality counterattack against narco-cultura propaganda.

same, i was like -- Minecraft movie..... and now this?????
Even if unintentional, there are quite a number of parallels to CSGO:
-5 v 5 firefights
-Close to mid-range environments
-AKs and M4s a plenty (with loadup before deployment!)
-Sniping across the field (possible AWP? Maybe!)
-Bombs have been planted (and going off!)
-CounterNarcos vs Narcos (Might as well be CounterTerries vs Terries)
One thing is for sure; content creators are going to have a field day with making clips of this movie into "the CSGO experience",
via the editing of game's sounds/mechanics/team chat (Like they did with Fury and War Thunder, RNGesus be praised)
There is 5 people in a shot in 1:08 you absolutely cannot tell me they did not do this on purpose for the Marketing material because the Counterstike game has 5v5 action. The people who made this absolutely knows what they are doing when naming this movie hahahaha

Am I the only one who thinks they should've translated the movie to English as "Counterattack" and not "Counterstrike" to avoid the ambiguity with the computer game? I am pretty sure "counterattack" is a better translation of "contraataque" even though I speak no Spanish.
You’re right, counterstrike would be more similar to “contragolpe”, and even if the movie was called that in Spanish, the ambiguity with the game is not worth it.

Finally a movie about our Special Forces. I used to live right next to the Murcielagos base. They are indeed patriots and a higher breed of soldiers. Our heroes in this crazy narco environment we live in Mexico. Don´t know about the counterstrike game, but I do know these guys go out and die for us in the war with organized crime. Honor and glory to our Mexican Special Forces!

The word is "Ataque", it most likely means attack and not strike. In my country we also say the same word but spelled differently "Atake". If we go with counterstrike then it should have been "Contrahuelga".

To be honest an entire movie about a small group of terrorists and counter-terrorists having an incredibly tense face-off that takes place in its entirety on a faithful recreation of dust would be incredible. Get someone like The Raid director to do it to maximize the tension and brutality
