Excellent gift idea. Yes, the anticipation of a new book is a significant part of the enjoyment of reading. I look forward to your thoughts on this title once you have read it. How thoughtful your niece was to choose her aunt such a gift. Thank you, and your dear puppy as well. You've set me thinking about other people's recommendations as well as simply turning up and discovering what may appeal. When you commit to meeting with a friend on a regular basis there are a number of compensating factors if the film isn't great, for example, your time over lunch in conversation may be. Thanks again.🙂💐
I’m in Canada and recently subscribed to a UK book box for six months. It’s called Bookishly and is a paperback classic every month with a very pretty dust jacket exclusive to the subscription box and a little pouch of tea. I’m loving it so far. You don’t get to choose the book, it is whatever their book of the month is. The paperback edition is a Wordsworth classic.
❤📚 What a wonderful gift! I will be excited to see what the next two months bring. I, too, thrft a majority of my books. I can find them like new, so inexpensively.
That does sound like an excellent October read! Love to see Tillie (?) too. After three months you’ll know if the service picks good books for you; then you’ll know if you want to continue.
I read this after having read a great deal about the Franklin Expedition. I didn’t like The Terror at all but then I never liked horror. I hope you enjoy it! ❤
The terror tv show based on this book is one of my favorite seasons of tv! After watching it, the book immediately went to the top of my TBR. I’d love to hear your opinion on the book when you get around to it. I plan to read it next winter since I’m also a seasonal reader and the frigid Arctic setting begs to be read in the depths of winter
I’ve been watching your channel for a while now and love your videos! I finally bought your book and I am very excited for it to arrive soon! Thank you for the lovely book recommendations. 🥰
I believe I have the audiobook of The Terror. I watched the series and enjoyed , but didn’t like the ‘bear’ story ( won’t say more not to spoil). The historical bits though were quite good.

Sounds lovely - love the idea of tea to drink while you're reading!
Awww bless I love your little furry friend

Yes I agree - anticipating the book is really a key part of the experience!
Really liked your explanation of book subscription boxes! They sound like a really good idea.
That sounds exciting, I think I’ve been to their book shop in Bath. 🤗

I should have said I bought the book Out Of Time
Much appreciated - I hope you enjoy it! 🙂
I watched the mini series. I believe on amazon prime. It was so gripping and suspensful. Surprisingly I liked it 🙂
