Sir, you are the Coronavirus lock down antidote. I’ve had this fully blood bagged edition of le tour gently playing away in the background, keeping me calm and longing for the good old days when a rider was booted from the tour daily and Phil never suspected a thing for 21 days straight.

@RF-JWT ugh... Yeah... I guess so.... He was King of the Mountains the year before right? Don't mean shit I suppose... Contador became much much better than everybody else.... Like in 2009 when he was bullied & ignored & made to take a taxi while his teammates rode with Lance in a limo....
but in 2007 Rasmussen probably could have held him off

@RF-JWT yes but that's how the Tour works.... Shit Joop Zoetemelk could have won 4 if he ever had a teammate in the mountains or other riders helping chase Merckx & Hinault.....
And that is kind of funny about the breakaway.... Oscar Periero never would have won in 06 if he didn't have that 20+ minute breakaway that Landis & everybody else let him get away with knowing they could beat him in the ITT

For someone who won the tour the prior year, they barely mention Oscar Pereiro.

Black Mamba interesting, and Pereiro did win the Tour the previous year.... Stage 16 I think he broke everyone... Landis didn't get mentioned much in 07 either.... He does now though

Appreciate these videos, and the time that goes into editing them, however, I would have liked a little more context eg stage number stage profile and even from to information, especially the sprint finishes when all we get is the last 2 kms.

Rasmussen had won the Tour, if he didn't lie about his where abouts

50:35 2 sharks hunting down a Barloworld.... Well, a Popovych chasing down a Barloworld while carrying a contender. If you don't know the results it's new to you.... Of course you can cheat and look, but cheating is like admitting you're a puss
