Thanks great video. Gave me lots of ideas for listings. During this covid19 lockdown-- Lego’s is something I haven’t thought of and I have LOADS of it to sell.
Hi Nic, great videos. Was just wondering, do you usually bid on these items and then resell? Or just Buy it Now on ebay and then resell for a higher buy it now price?
thanks for the informative video. Good info without fluffy filler! But I have a question for anybody who has thoughts on this: How do you decide when/if to use postal tracking and insurance when selling *within* your country? (I'm in Canada.) 1) Never? (unless buyer requests and pays for it) 2) Always? (in order to avoid pesky postal (or the odd dishonest) buyer issues) 3) Some other solution? If shipping cross-border, I assume tracking is the norm. But what about insurance? Or maybe when you use tracking, the insurance is bundled automatically with that? (I'm obviously new at all this.) Thanks!
Would you ever bother to make a set complete by getting missing parts from Bricklink and then selling as complete set? Have you sold on Bricklink and if so how did you find it?
Hi Nic I hope you and Andrea and the family are safe and well. Nic I have just bought 100 lego mini figures before I list them would you suggest splitting into lots or selling individually?
@@NicHills Thanks Nic for your advice. I have a Vintage 1976 MB Connect 4, very very good condition the box itself is also in a great condition no marks or rips etc what would you aim for?
@@jdnetwork-reselling thanks JD Network Lego and Lego mini figs are new territory for me, some of the figs I couldn't even begin identify what they are

I have shut down my ebay for a few months, with no one likely to see a boot sale this year, I have boxes and bags of Lego and heaps of other figures and toys to sell as stock starts to run low.

Hi Nic & Andrea just want to pick your brains as experienced ebay sellers, now if you have an item to sell normally you look at current listings and sold comps for an indication of the items sale ability and maybe how much to list.My question is Who watches items?? I list items and have watchers, sometimes end items and relist at later dates bang the watchers are back but not buyers just watchers from your experience are these people just trolls to see if your items are selling? Myself I might watch an item I am interested in on auction format if goes over my max price then I don't bid but who watches BIN items?
There are all sorts of watchers. I watch scale models that have been painted well so I can use it for reference or I watch items that are too high in price but they reminder me of that items in 2 months time for example so I can search that product at a price I can afford if there are any. Or I watch a sale of an item that I have the same one of to see what price it reaches. All my watched items sit in the watched list no matter how long ago the auction was - I use it the same way as my google favourites list.
Hello Nic hope everything is well. Are you still able to outsource items to sell , or you only have stuff stored to list ? Are you still be able to go to the Post office without the Police stopping you ? Love your videos , You and your family Stay Safe .Thumbs up
We have a huge backlog of stock to work through... the government has told online retailers that they are encouraged to carry on and we are able to drop off our orders. So until advice changes that is what we are doing...
Profit Tracker thank you so much for replying. I’ve only got my children’s huge pile of playmobile that they’ve outgrown that I need to sell and unfortunately don’t have any rare or vintage ones unless playmobile from 10 years might be in that category, I’ll have to check what I’ve got. But it’s great to know and I’ll be looking out for those rare and vintage for reselling. Thank you so much for the tip.
Found this set with another recently and sold one set for $39.00. Then I sold LEGOLAND TOWN SYSTEM SET # 6085 -Black Monarch’s Castle...for $204.00 ...crazy... never opened boxes after I purchased ...they were used just took my chances ... paid $5 for each set And boom!

The United Kingdom’s international shipping is usually quite good they ship too North American.
Good video ya got good stuff got deals very good
Would you ever bother to make a set complete by getting missing parts from Bricklink and then selling as complete set? Have you sold on Bricklink and if so how did you find it?
I often buy pieces to complete sets as lot easier to sell when complete. I just search eBay to find best price
I have done that but right now I am more about getting the stuff moving fast. I've not sold on bricklink.
Hi Nic I hope you and Andrea and the family are safe and well. Nic I have just bought 100 lego mini figures before I list them would you suggest splitting into lots or selling individually?
Look them all up to find the profitable ones or if you can’t be bothered to do that for 100 sell them in bundles
I'm selling small bundles of common figures... any Potter/Star Wars/Marvel etc look up and see how much they are worth

How do you source lego, do you just buy it as you come across it the sell when you have 40kg?
keep up the hard work, always love watching your videos. stay safe!!
Hi nic at what value / price do you decide to send items recorded delivery?
Or as you have a business account with Royal Mail , does this protect you?
If it goes over £20.00 then technically it should be Recorded. Standard post (First and Second Class) covers £20.00 maximum.
@@JamesSmith-ru7mm he probably uses RM48 which gives no cover but does have a delivery scan which is accepted by ebay incase of INR's.

Playmobil always sells well, K-nex not so much, if I do I tend to sell it in big bundles

Agreed…. he really underpriced these toys lucky the winners of these auctions.
If I listed 1kg lego at £18 I would never sell it. I can't get more than £14...
Very nice material
