Used to service cars for a living and over half of the hundreds of Hondas we serviced had replacement engines and almost all had messed up window tracks. Overrated big time. Escorts will last "forever" if you keep replacing the engines.
That's a nice little Civic saloon/sedan. It must have been very well cared for, the interior, or at least the driver's seat should be threadbare and mangled after 300,000 miles of butts on it but it looks like it just needs a good valet. Those Civic saloons are very rare in the UK, which is a shame as I always rather fancied one, but I can't remember the last time I saw one for sale. I suspect most of them sold in the UK rotted away years ago or broke and took the one-way trip to the junk yard. That little damage to the sill/rocker should be pretty easy to straighten out with some careful hammering, the sills/rockers on those are made of pretty thin metal... I guess the mangled Mercury will be donating a hinge to the Town Car before long. I imagine the door hinges are going to be the same on all Panther bodies...
That’s actually a unicorn EX sedan, they have integra size front brakes and rear discs on the 91. It’s also the only sedan that comes with the mpfi setup like the Si civic/crx. The spoiler is a pretty rare factory option as well
No offense Jesse, but you're really better off buying one that needs minor things, just like you did with your Jeep--it's just so much easier to get it going again. I'm looking forward to the Lincoln rebuild too, it's gonna be fun!
I love my Lincoln's too baby I have a 93 with 201000 Miles and I have a 2010 with 54000 MI that's my baby the 2010 so is the old one that's been a good car or no problems with it only problem I had to have the air ride air bags replaced on it that was $1,100 at the dealer other than that it's been a good car?

Those old Hondas will run forever. I drive a 95 Accord to work every day. It has 289000 miles and runs 75 - 80 on the highway without a problem.

They're not overrated.People just did not do the maintenence on them.
I just bought a 2003 civic coupe 5 spd 305k for $500. Needs new windshield, new brake lines, new battery. Runs good, clutch feels fine, runs smooth.

Civics aren’t rare with power windows... not common but not rare... crx is rare with power windows cause only edm and jam had power options
