Yes, back it 2018, the train line that ran between Downtown LA and Santa Monica was known as the Expo Line. After LA Metro renamed their rail lines, the Expo Line became the E Line.

Well something there is homeless people in stations and in the Trains but there are people at the stations called metro ambassadors that stay in a station for a couple minutes then hop on the train to go to a different station or there is also police officers in the stations and trains sometimes. The metro trains also have an intercom and lots of cameras inside each train.

The fares for riding the trains is the same as for riding the CTA trains and buses in Chicago.
