- It has been 3172 days since the last entry into the ArmA franchise and the mad men at Bohemia Interactive have decided to end that streak. With this new entry into the series there is plenty of jank and mentally scarring content to go around so we obviously had to make a video on it. Opinion and quick take review at the end of the video!

The day has finally dawned! This video is probably the final requiem for my poor graphics card, for which I have finally decided to upgrade after its valiant battle with Reforger. Sorry if there are a few seconds in this video where the frames are a little jittery! Would love to hear your guy’s take on the game so far, and if you enjoy consider sharing the video
The game was rigged from the start
The game is pretty bare bones at the moment, but what's there is fun. It's pretty much just a fancy tech demo for modders to port their mods into the new Enfusion engine, BUT in it's current state it's pretty fun and both ambushing and getting ambushed feels pretty awesome. Lol.
Jay are you looking for a dedicated reforger server to mess around on? Because me and my gaggle of friends are getting one online soon.

I briefly thought that the limited content would mean that Ignis might not get into too much trouble. Then I remembered that this is Ignis we're talking about and, more importantly, the map features Provins...

I'm not completely sure, but I picked up an enemy radio playing last night and I THINK I was just talking to the other team lol. Gonna have to do some more experimenting before I say this is definitively true.
@@ryanmarc1853 you can in fact mess with the enemy team on their radios.. but be sure to remember what the names of places are on the enemy side listen in get some signals intel from them before talking so you don't get found out.. then let loose the psychological warfare campaign where you tell them there's a squad of insert team you're on headed to so and so place make them think you're coming one way then ambush them from behind and kill them all. never let them see you only use radio coms hit and run then say .. oh that guy.. yeah i got him no need to worry.. its safe to come out now. the only way they will know is if they check the player list and see you aren't on their team. otherwise stay out of sight but within coms range of enemy squads.. ask them to come pick you up at a certain place... be waiting with a law or rpg. blow them to hell before they can even report a damn thing to their HQ. :p

That's how we wiped out an american convoy. We all were dressed in American uniforms and we managed to stop the group telling them that the Russians have a BTR further down the road, then when we had them distracted we murdered all of them without losing anyone.

I'm looking forward to Arma 4, but I am definitely not looking forward to how long it's gonna take for them to bring all the awesome mods over to it
I think that's the reason for Reforger, it's likely to have the same engine, thus making porting much simpler than going from Arma 3.

They are actually likely going to be policing copyright infringement in the new game, because they have their mod menu integrated and handled by Bohemia.
@@commanderstorm8874 from what Remy Said on his review it will be a seamless port from Reforger to Arma 4 and that mod tools should be better.
The mod tools are actually pretty really good. Because there's already a recreation offffff.... Stratis? Or Altis?
The mod tools were built around making it as easy as they could

I'm really excited to see where Reforger goes! It shows a ton of promise and potential and my girlfriend bought it before I did, so its gonna be fun lmao

I was playing this on Xbox and was US Sniper in one match. Some way some how, my M14 magically disappeared from my virtual arms and it only took me a few minutes to realize this. I literally retraced my steps, mindlessly walking around a dense forest looking for my weapon while distant firefights are going on. Sadly, I never found my rifle. The game is okay. On Xbox I have to literally crawl my way into a server like a gremlin just to play. I don't know how bad it is on PC, but yeah. Maybe some other time I'll get the game on PC just to see what it's like there. Kind of disappointed that there is no cross-play, but I'm sure that'll be coming in the future.

I still can't get over the graphical quality of the new ARMA engine. I am also super excited for the mod potential this new engine holds.

There is actually a good chance that Bohemia will be policing mods for copyrights. Reforger's mod system is built in, with an in game browser and mod hosting system, which means they will be watching for and striking out mods that violate copyrights of other companies, especially GW with how anal they are being

Honestly think it would be hilarious to see Ignis play Ark:Survival Evolved, or Conan Exiles, or even Space Engineers (Mostly just want to see the Space Engineers God of Physics, Klang, whimsically destroying their stuff.)
I watched the video 24 minutes after it got posted the closest I have been for your channel but I was on a guess account but now I'm not 4 hours later.
In all honesty I stumbled upon your videos whilst looking for Halo content in the run up to Halo Infinite coming out and I have an accumulative play time on arma of about half an hour in the beta, I watch your content for you and all the wacky hijinks you get up to with your friends and ignis! ♥
Would love to see more content be it on ARMA or more variety!! Honestly I am a huge huge huge fan of the FFXIV content you put out! I love that game to death so would be cool to see some more stuff from that! Alternatively if its not too forward for me to suggest you and the gang jump on a Space Engineers server and let the absolute chaos that is you guys and that game ensue!

I saw provins on drewskis video and immediately thought of all you guys and got flashbacks almost.
Nah I like the that you can dress in enemy uniform and use their coms if you get hold of their radio. Creates an interesting dynamic for pvp
Honestly i'm excited for Reforger and i hope they iron out the most egregious jank, but yeah i'll hold off on buying so i can replace my 100gb folder of Mods for Arma 3 for a new 100gb folder of mods for Reforger

The game is really fun. I’ve been doing a solo Conflict game and I’ve mostly gotten audio bugs but over all it’s a good game preview. Like RubixRaptor said, wait like 2 months before buying the game because the developers will have fixed most of the bugs.
