Great looking MIG. I appreciate how you let us average model builders know that it’s ok to not have a perfect build. And that they don’t have to strive for a show quality finish. Hell, I feel that if you the builder is happy with the finished product, that’s all that matters. I absolutely love the camouflage on this bird. It all turned out good looking in the end. Thanks for sharing.
Just subscribed to your channel, your Fresco turned out lovely! I love the precise control you had with the airbrush when doing the dark green splotches, excellent work. 👍 coincidentally I am nearing the finish line with mine as we speak( have to install blade antenna mast, unmask canopy & windscreen, weathering and that's it. I was disappointed with this kit (and so was my good friend who built one), bad fit in multiple places, gun tray/lower fuselage piece, nose ring, fuselage, wing root gaps, fiddly landing gear. (Hate the way the wheels attach! Why not use pin and hole method?) Main gear struts once you figure out how the little outer doors go on made that part easier and with a liberal amount of CA glue they cemented in place pretty securely. The kit does have some very nice details but it is a tough build. Doubtful if I'd build another even though I have the Polish version PZL Lim 5 in the stash. Would love to build one of my Eduard MiG-15s after this just to see how it would compare since they're similar to each other. Anyway loved your vid and build! 👍
Thank you, glad you enjoyed the video. Seems you encountered many of the same challenges with it. It turns into a decent aircraft in the end but some of the engineering is kind of frustrating to deal with.
@scaleffect you're welcome! Yeah you and me and my friend all had similar problems. Almost done with mine and am looking forward to moving onto the next project! 🙂
I am currently building this model and I agree it has really bad fit issues, especially the seams on the fuselage, the nose ring and front wing roots. And the gaps are huge. Great job dealing with those in your video.
Wish I'd done a little bit better in hindsight, but thank you. It's a shame the fit is so mediocre for a newer tooling, but maybe later runs of the kits had more issues as I have had a few people tell me I'm crazy and their kit fit perfectly, so who knows. Hopefully this video helps you solve a few issues on yours!

Thanks for watching again and all the comments. Glad to know someone out there is getting some value from all this :)

Looks great!! Iv got one of these, thanks for the heads up on the fit issues.
Thank you, I hope yours goes together better than this one. Perhaps I got one molded on a Friday a few minutes before the end of the workday.
Beware it is a tough build almost done with mine as we speak!
Congratulations ! 👍 🏆
Thank you
That's a great looking build!
Thank you, I appreciate that coming from someone as prolific as yourself.
Nice result 👍
Thank you
Looks cool.
Thank you
