🤣it would seem so! Check out the Neatfi site, they have a few different kinds. These are the Task Lamps. 4 brightness settings and nice quality arms, definitely a step above so many of the other cheaply made imitations.

I know, I need to build some of those soon. I love Star Wars, I've been doing too much collecting of the kits and not enough building of them. I usually clean it about every 6 months. New filter, change out the poster board, wipe down the inside with alcohol, etc. Before painting I run a static duster through there to try and get any junk away from the area, but that's about it.

My lovely wife made those for me from scrap fabric and they work great for using the blocks to support models after they are painted to avoid scratching up paint work. Highly recommend making some if you know how to sew.

Heck yeah JD, I would love to one day build a "proto-lanced" model railroad, maybe early 1900s era, running from the Salinas valley area across the central valley and through the sierra foothills up to the Reno area.

@@LSCModels the venue is getting very expensive, especially after the San Francisco 49ers built their new stadium across the street, and after 40 years the organizers are retiring from doing the event. A new group could take it over, but aside from unverified rumors I'm not sure if it's going to happen any time soon.

Probably was getting it's glamour shots done, I thought about trying to remember where there were slips with no models to go back later but I not only ran out of time, I never could have remembered them all unfortunately. Awesome to see your builds again, that taco truck is soooo cool man, and you know I love your Chevy with the surfboard on top (sorry it happened to get left out, but I got another photo of it!). Sorry we missed connecting again, we gotta plan better next show to try and link up.

Thanks for the feedback, I've been trying to improve my coverage by pausing an extra second or two on each model, so I'm glad people are liking that.

There might be one closer than you think, there are NNL events all around the US, maybe in other countries too I'm not sure. A lot of real car shows will have model car shows alongside them as well. And if all else fails, you can always try to find a local IPMS show with all sorts of models, not just cars.
