Thanks, Sam. I support Atreyu! Great American values. Meanwhile I’m racing in my Speedland PDX and having a blast. I’ll likely use the Atreyu for shorter-distance training; the Arc’Teryx Norvan LD 3 for sloppy/slushy trails; the Salomon SnowSpike for deeper snow (although eventually I’ll default to my Atlas running snowshoes); the Craft CTM Carbon Ultra for beyond 50 mile road-trail; and the Norda 001 for long-haul trail racing beyond 50 miles. My secret weapon for snow-packed roads is the Inov-8 G-270.
Hey Troy, Indeed real spunk and creativity!! Great line up! I am finishing review of the Mont Blanc and while if one has super narrow heels maybe not the best choice it is an amazing shoe on road, door to trail. Incredibly energetic softer midsole!
Thanks Reza No idea yet as all snow and road here in Park City but suspect good. As soon as I am back East next week where the rocks and roots are notorious slippery and wet will test there.
@@RoadTrailRun Altra Superior V2 had a simple ripstop upper, and I had no issues durability-wise. I'm more concerned about a non-gussetted tongue & if the fit is sloppy.
Props to this man for taking a shoe off in the middle of his run in the snow to give us a good visual.
i like the simplicity of it. Plain, beautiful, makes the job done.
My daily trainers are nothing but two pairs of the base V2. Looking forward to these!

@@RoadTrailRun thank you - will check it out. Altras have always been too loose and slappy for me, but maybe it’s a new day.
hmmm, I might have to give them a try. They don’t disappoint for the price.
Looks awesome
If I buy them they'll be for road use only. Nice to you enjoyed them Sam. Will these be the only color offered?
Not sure about colors will ask.
Thanks for the great video. How sticky is the outsole on wet rocks?

Looks great but I’m concerned about the thin upper - looks like it could tear easily if it gets caught on a rock or root?
Potentially but it looks like it is dense enough if highly breathable and ripstop in nature. We

I'll buy these...
Thank God it doesn't say "GORE-TEX" in ten different places.
Oh baby, come to daddy
