that's how i saw it. Driving up from nashville the night before a convention, had never been to PGH. I was tired and and ready to get to my room. Sick of Ohio flatland, come through the tunnel and Boom, welcome to pittsburgh.

On my drive back to Ontario from Florida this week I went through both Virginia's and was planning on hitting the Cleveland/Pittsburgh ball game.
Went through 3 tunnels (my first ever.. it was an amazing feeling!)
First one was in Virginia. From mountains, through mountain emerge to more mountains.
Second was at the end of Virginia. Through mountain, emerge to more mountains but I got the "welcome to west Virginia" greeting on my phone. I thought wow that's cool. Nice two tunnels.
Third one was in PA. Still mountains lol. Through mountain.. expecting the same emergence.
BOOM! PITTSBURGH! I was like wowww that's an entrance to a city holy crap!
Definitely the most dramatic entrance to a city I think I had on my whole trip.
It would have been my absolute favourite but I took the I-75 down to Florida and drove right through the heart of Atlanta. As I came up on that city all I could think of was that iconic image from the walking dead. That was probably my favourite big city entrance overall just because it was probably my first "wow!" Moment for a big city on my travels.

I lived in Pittsburgh for two years.. that was my commute on my way home from work.. from moon township to Troy Hill. That view never got old. Whether it’s daytime or night time❤️❤️

This entrance into downtown Pittsburgh is something New York City will never have.

Troy Hill is an awesome place. I sold a few houses up there.

First time I saw Pittsburgh was the day I moved there ☠️ I told my mom it was like entering a snow globe. Definitely a core memory!

I remember when the tunnels weren't there yet and there was just a big hillside there.
